Spoke to the garage yesterday. The original PCN was dated 4/12/2017, they got it on 8/12/2017 and replied to Smart on 11/12/2017. So it took them just over 7 weeks to re-issue the PCN to me - were they hoping the delay would further the likelihood of me having binned my ticket I wonder...

Well as I was there for 1hr 35min according to them - the fee I paid was £1 for two hours - that's the min fee and time for this car park. I've also contacted Tenpin bowling who will be able to confirm my booking. They also refund the cost of the parking so why would I not pay??

That's what I don't understand as they don't even state clearly what I did wrong? It just says "By either not purchasing the appropriate parking time or by remaining at the car park for longer than permitted...." What are they accusing me of? I may have typed the reg in incorrectly? It was a courtesy car, unfamiliar plate and it was dark. So infuriating!

It was outside a bowling alley in Exeter. I attended with my son and his friend at a Scout bowling evening. The bowling alley refund parking costs so why would I not pay? I cannot show the ticket I bought as it was so long ago! The courtesy car went back to the garage on 1 Dec 2017. I would have cleared it out and thrown all rubbish inc parking tickets away. The notice doesn’t state what I did wrong?? It says I may have not purchased a ticket or stayed longer than the permitted time… . How can they not tell me??
