  2. Hi I can't upload a pic of the letter but no all it said was 1) the defence is struck out as no realistic prospect of success 2)the claimant be at liberty to enter judgement by request for the amount claimed plus interest if any and fixed costs That was it Addressed to the company in the company name

  4. Hi thanks for the answers, Im still not sure what it means, Can bailiffs turn up at my door, Do I need to do anything? Tia Because, irrelevant of my defence, (they didn't do what I had asked, so I'm not paying,) the company was dissolved so as a Ltd company there is no company to sue
  5. does that mean it should be the end of it when i filed the defence the company had been dissolved, we got the letter on the monday, but the company was not finally dissolved until the wednesday, i was told to wait till the thursday to file my defence, the company has been dissolved, should this be the end of it?

  7. We had a company which we dissolved in september 2017. we had hired a company to do some search engine work optimization work as we had fallen off google, in 2016, their work was unsatisfactory we cancelled the contract as they were not fulfilling their contract. we ended up owing them £4000, had they done their job, our company would of gotten back onto google and we may not of needed to dissolve the company, (it is more complicated, but im not technical) they took the ltd company to court, i was advised to put company dissolved as our defense by business a debt helpline. we were asked to do mediation , we agreed but were then told it was unsuitable as we would not negotiate, firstly we do not accept that we owe the money, but second we have been told repeatedly by lots of different avenues that a debt of a dissolved ltd company can not be chased out of the blue we received the following letter I have received a court letter today stating 1) the defence is struck out as no realistic prospect of success 2)the claimant be at liberty to enter judgement by request for the amount claimed plus interest if any and fixed costs my questions are What does this actually mean can they claim from a dissolved company thanks in advance
