    At last a knowledgeable DJ that questioned the make up of the alleged debt . The legal profession is a cosy little cartel where no one rocks the boat but they have to listen to a Dj.     They are Low Life.They rely on the ignorance of most people with regard to debts with idle threats and downright lies to get you to pay them thier parent company buy portfolios of debt from banks etc for peanuts and try to get the debtor to pay full whack.As soon as you stand up to them they back down and move on to another victim (sucker)

    I was under the impression that payments made by OC could affect when the account becomes SB. If a well itentioned person wanted to pay some money off the account without your knowledge or permission does not unbar the SB status. You can be 200% certain that Crapbot/Rectum did not enquire as to whether the OC were aware of this when they received the payment from a third party all they see is $$$$$ signs and it would never be SB,d

    If you are being harrassed by them keep a record of all the correspondence and phone calls and text messages after you have won sue for harrassment. Is it not Statute Barred after all this time? I see that Dx100 had advised you to send SB letter

    You do not need to get counter signature if it is a std renewal ie no changes.Reewed mine recently was returned within a week (still getting over shock) and I live in Sweden

    Have you paid or acknowledged the Debt within the last six years. If you have not paid or ack the debt it is Statute Barred which means the debt is still there but they cannot take court action to recover debt. They can ask you pay but they cannot harrass you when you have advised them it is SB. Some of the more knowledgeable members will you advise you

    The problem with not being able to get an appointment is nothing to do shortage of GP etc. The problem is the way people use the NHS it is seen as the "cure all" for any medical problem/ condition it should be the place of last resort.Most problems can be sorted using common sense only involve your GP after exhausting all other options I live in Sweden which had the finest health service in the world it was abused by people so having to face the financal realitys they introduced a nominal fee which was payable when you saw the doctor this was waived when reached a certain level.The same with prescriptions you pay the cost of the drugs which in 90% of them was less than the prescription charge in the UK again with cost ceiling to protect the chronically sick This has solved the problem in Sweden you can normally get an appointment the same day , very short wating times for operations etc

    If I was DX100uk I would have told you that as you seem to know everything that you dig yourself out of the mess you are in. They give advice for free which is normally very accurate. You have now spent 255.00 in trying to get CCJ Set Aside with very little hope of this happening The original judgement was probably a similar amount you would have been advised to come to some arrangement with the OC instead of ignoring the CCj Claim the DCA or his tame Solicitor normally discontinue the claim if you put in a Defence

    This OP has been posting on this thread since March 2014 on the same subject. Any normal person would have got the message that he is "flogging a dead horse". You can take a horse to water but you cannot make it drink. He refuses to accept any advice and goes off on a tangent on totally irrelevant points. The world does not owe him a living so after wasting three and a halfs years of his life on totally peurile arguments what I can only sugest is that you forget your alleged problems and get on with your life

His feeling of self importance is only matched by his perception that everyone should treat his complaints seriously

    The OP is taking the proverbial The facts in his query change every time he post. It really beggars belief that he has done nothing constructive to sort out the problem for the last 11 years this is a self help site .All he does is abuse any one who offers constructive help. One of the site team should close this post and put him out of his misery.

    I live in northern Sweden and the northern Lights are normally very spectacular but the weather has been very wet and cloudy so couldnt see anything last nite but we get more chances to see them later in the year!

    You are missing the point As soon as you start missing payment s Barclays will take money from youn current accont to offset against you r Card debt .As i siad they wont care if your only income is Benifits Move your Curernt account to another bank which is not part o f Barclays

    You must listen to the advice given to you . The most important think for you to do is move your current away from Barclay as the can quite legally take money from that account to pay toward your other debts with them. It may be nice that they cover your mobile phone but if you check on your statements there is probably a charge for this listed separately its whats known as a packaged account. Also if you want to insure your phone it is cheaper to do it yourself. Barclays are one off the worst banks for offsetting Banks are only your friend when they can make money from your account they will not give a damn f the money they take is from Benefits . All they are interested in is getting their money .When they cannot get their hands on it YOU can dictate how much you can pay. Your credit rating is already affected as Barclays will have already been reporting the state of your Credit Card debt the various agencies ie Experian Call Credit Etc

    As a brit living in Sweden I was amazed at Theresa Mays decision to call a snap election I wonder whether history will repeats itself once more didnt Ted Heath call an early election in the 70s on the basis of the Miners strike on the premise that he must be allwed to rule he had an surprise when he lost the election and got deposed by that woman I think you know the one MT. We can all hope it the people do not believe whats in the SUN and Daily Mail. You may also remember the mistake that Churchill made in under estimating Attlee who was probably the best peace time PM we had . Need to sort out my Postal Vote
