I sent the initial claim letter to TSB and received a reply today stating that my excessive charges were not default charges but "fixed standard prices" and therefore the OFT guidelines do not apply. They have refused to enter into any more correspondence on this matter and have referred me to the Financial Ombudsman Service. Oops. My LBA was sent in the post this morning as well, so they are going to be happy with me. Is what they are saying correct or are they trying to fob me off? Cheers Mark.
