  1. Had a letter from a new DCA called Apex. Never heard of them so does anyone know much about them?
  2. [causing problems] gits! Who are the DCA's who will buy?
  3. After Westcot it was Moorcroft who I've also ignored. I've still not heard anything from RBS in 6 weeks. They said they'd send further information from the DCA. If they still own it why are they passing it around all the DCA's? Also what usually happens next?
  4. No PPI or penalties. They continued to charge me interest for 3 months in 2006/7 when I told them I couldn't pay and offered £10 per month. After 3 months they accepted the £10 but didn't refund the interest. At some point they got Experto Credite to collect the payments but there is no mention of them in the letters. What's interesting is that I received a letter from RBS in July 2007 and then nothing till May 2016 when they said they passed the debt to Westcot. I ignored them and now they've passed it to someone else.
  5. I received the SARicon documents on the 26th July. There's loads of statements, some correspondence from 2006/7 when I said I couldn't pay the debt and a letter saying they're gathering information from the DCAicon. The statements show some payments I made in 2008 and 2012-2016. They said they've passed the case on to another DCA, who I'm ignoring. I haven't received any further information that they said they'd get from the original DCA. It was Experto Credite who went bust last year. Do I just sit and wait? What happens now?

  7. Sent the SAR today. I'm interested to see how many payments they received from Experto Credite as they went bust. What happens if no payments went to RBS? Can I claim SB?
  8. The debt is a Credit card. I'll reword "Current" account number - The "latest" account number. The Credit Agreement they sent has a different account number listed to the account number they are now quoting. They also sent a cover letter which you usually get with a replacement credit card and this has the new account number listed.
  9. I sent the CCA to RBS on 19th May, they received it on 22 May. I have received a response today from RBS on 12th June which was posted on 8th June. They have sent me: A signed copy of my credit agreement from 1997 T's & C's for the 1997 agreement. A current statement of the account. A letter you usually get with a replacement credit card? 1. The response was late. 2. The account number they're quoting on their letters, current statement and replacement credit card letter does not match the original credit agreement. What do I do now? Does the credit agreement number need to be the same as the current account number? I'm guessing the actual credit card this refers to changes over time. So should a new credit agreement be signed with every new card?
  10. I did and it says no need to sign. DCA says it needs signing according to data protection laws. Hence why I'm asking, who is correct?
  11. Yes I missed that, apologies. Should I now send the CCA request to RBS? Do I need to sign it by hand or is typing my name acceptable?
  12. Has there been any recent cases of signatures being lifted? That's what I was cautious about.
  13. I sent Moorcroft a CCA request and they've returned it saying it must be hand signed. I know this is rubbish but how do I respond?
  14. Thanks, will sit tight.
  15. I got my postal order back from Cabot today with a letter that said: "Unfortunately, it appears that Goldfish are unlikely to be able to provide the requested documentation. Therefore, I can confirm that Cabot Financial Limited have taken the decision to no longer pursue collection of this account. Please note that this decision is not to be confused or interpreted as a write-off of the outstanding balance on your account as the debt legally remains. In addition, I can confirm due to the time elapsed this entry should no longer appear on your credit file". I'm guessing they'll sell this to some other DCA, is that the usual course of action?
