Thanks very much for your help. I have tried to do it myself but when I asked Ford Credit for the account history they tell me that they have no records over 6 years old. What's my next step?

Ford Finance tell me that they have no record of PPI payments because the account was paid off more than 6 years ago. However a CMC tell me that for an upfront fee of £70 per claim they can get access to this information without any paperwork or account numbers. They call this fee a deposit which will be refunded on completion and suggest payment by credit card. They then charge 25% of any subsequent compensation. Any advice would be appreciated
