  1. I would ask anyone before parting with their hard earned cash to checkout a few basics with regard to companies such as Bluecrest. I too have had a 'personal invitation' to attend a screening. I have no idea where they got my name and address but no matter... As a forensic accountant I was instantly suspicious - but ask yourself a few basics - why is there no registered office on their mailing? (or indeed any address at all??) why does the screening take place at a hotel? The answers are obvious - so that you cannot get hold of them easily afterwards as all they plan to do is hire a hotel room (here today and literally gone tomorrow). Then ask yourself another obvious question - why would a 'professional' medical company operate like this - obvious answer - this is not a professional medical company there are no named doctors or physicians (in their favour they do not pretend there are). Essentially you are paying top dollar for a few people (who sound incompetent by all accounts who are probably on the minimum wage to maximise the company's profits) to conduct a few tests of dubious validity and reliability. The ubiquitous Peter Blencowe (Managing director and allegedly resident in Canada) must be rubbing his hands with glee while he rakes it in from the gullible. Interestingly in my particular case the same week I got an invitation for a FREE NHS medical check-up. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to work out where I shall be booking my appointment!
