I just received another letter from Zenith Collections this time. It is marked Notice of Debt recovery assignment They inform me "without prejudice" that I owe 160 quid to VCS they tell me that Zenith are now responsible fore the debt and are prepared to accept a reduced sum of £79 to save the expence of court fees. I must pay in 14 days they inform me or the fee with revert back to 160 quid Time table of incident and demands Incident occurred allegedly 28/04/15 in Abersoch Wales I dont know where the place is but it wasnt a car park i spent time in I did get tickets when I parked for any time anywhere. As I have stated elsewhere I think they photographed me twice when I stopped to gho to the shop on my way out for the day and on my way back. They state I was there for four hours First demand letter October 28 2015 from VCS showing two photographs of car in two different positions asking for£80.00 for parking and not paying for a ticket There followed six letters one every couple of weeks until the recent letter from Debt Recovery plus and the one I opened today from Zenith mentioned above I havent responded to any letters Thank you Sean

The letter I recieved last week was from an Agency called DRP or Debt Recovery Plus Location Panty Branner Abersoch which is where the alleged parking occured. Other correspondence was from Vehicle Control Services LTD and initially in the first letter in October demanded £80 which went up and went down again for the last letter. They say in the letter they are lowering the charge to comply with "pre action Protocol" Thank you for your ongoing interest and support Sean

Hi thanks for the reply I meant to say I had recieved several letters from VCS the last one being the dodgy debt collecting agency informing me they will advise court action if i failed to pay The first was in October 2015 with phots of the car in two different positions and timed as though I had been there three hours in the same place. Hello all I went on holiday in my car to Wales last Easter with my Friend and her Grandkids one of who is disabled. Had a lovely time but I got A demand for a parking fine in October for 80 pounds. It included a photo of my car in two different positions. It said I had parked for two hours. It looks to me as if I had parked there earlier to pop in the shop and then later to pop in the shop on my way back and they are saying I was there the whole time. I can remember the days we went to the beach and we paid any parking charge. Otherwise i had stopped for 2 minutes at different places to pop in shops. I cannot remember seeing any signage OR PARKING machine Looking at threads on different websites they all seemed to advise not to reply and not to pay. One site lists the different letters which they send and I have reieved eactly those letters so far. We have got to the letter where the bogus debt recovery firm is threatening to advise the VCS to take me to court. I notice that more recent advice is not to ignore but not necessarily to pay. I dont want to lose my credit rating its taken me a long time to get it back up. but I think it is unfair that they send me a charge six months after the fact when I cannot remember where i was or what I was doing. Also I will not have receipts to show I was in the shop. The charge rose to £200 and has now dropped to £140 if I pay in a certain time frame. They threaten I will get bad credit. What is the latest advice it seems unfdair to treat people like this Its very worrying should I pay? take them to court? what if I lose? will I get bad credit for fighting it in court?
