  1. Thank you for the link. Basically that person had the exact same issue as me (and countless others) however it doesn't say if and how it has been resolved. I have emailed all the required documents 3 times to QVR at octagoninsurance.com I used that email address because that's the email address given to me in a letter from Octagon and it says to email all documents there. I have just spoken to the customer service on a live chat and printed the chat as proof. They just told me that email address is wrong even though that's the one they gave me. They now said to email it to qvr at catalystcsl.co.uk which has never been mentioned before. Just to be safe I have now emailed all documents (each in a separate email) to each of these email addresses: QVR at octagoninsurance.com qvr at catalystcsl.co.uk mse at octagoninsurance.com chris.hill at octagon.gi I will also send printed copies via recorded express mail to: Policy Validation Team Europa House Midland Way Thornbury Bristol BS35 2JX Octagon Insurance are giving out conflicting information on where to send the domcuents and I have proof of that. They previously told me that they received all documents and they are now denying it. I am extremely worried that Octagon insurance purposely cancels policies to charge cancellation fees and then request another deposit to reinstate the policy. I think this looks like a [problem]. Can this be reported to the National Trading Standard or Financial Conduct Authority?
  2. Hello, I hope someone on here can help before things get worse. I have taken out car insurance with Octagon and emailed them all the required documents. I even called (expensive hotline which is the only way to contact them) to confirm they received all documents. All of a sudden I have received a text message saying they will cancel my policy unless I get in touch. I have called them again and asked what the problem was. All I was told is that some documents are missing. When I told them that I have emailed all documents twice and have previously been assured that they have all required documents, I was just told that no one from "that department" was in today. I was then advised to just email all documents again "for a third time". Having done so I today received a letter that they will cancel my policy on 17/11/2015 because I have responded to them. Firstly I have responded every time they text, wrote or emailed me. Secondly they are not saying in the letter what it is that is missing or why they want to cancel my policy. I am worried that this is just a [problem] where they cancel your policy to charge a cancellation fee and then charge an additional deposit to re-start the policy. Can someone please help me?
