  1. Thank you so much for all your advice, I feel a bit more better (and trying to think more rationally) I really hope that they don't make this into a really big deal like you suggest. I just need to sincerely apologise. And the reason why i mentioned CCTV was because on the same day i did this 3 others tried and succeeded (I had to be the unlucky one) so they'll be definitely following up on that. Thank you again, I'll probably post the outcome some point on Monday.
  2. The thing is my school is very likely to get the police involved, not just from my actions but the fact that a number of Ex-students have been committing fraud with the oyster. I have already heard that they are now preparing to go trough CCTV to find out those who came into the school to get it stamped. I think my actions will act some sort of proof that its been happening. If that is the case what do you think the consequences may be for me? I know that depending on the severity of the situation my place being at the college will probably be compromised. Its all really frustrating because all i wanted to do this year was keep my head down and study, if this becomes really serious it may even jepardise me getting into university. Also I'll truly find out everything on Monday when i go in. Thank you for replying so quickly Edit: the police are getting involved :/
  3. About my self: I am on my gap year, 18 years old and planning on reapplying to university. Thankfully my college allowed me to come back as a part time student. With this i applied for a 16+ oyster. However some student who recently left for university that are my age have been trying to come back in to the college to get a stamp form the school in order to get a free 16+ and most have gotten away with it ect. On Wednesday a friend of mine talks about wanting to do the same thing, and attempts to apply for a 16+ even though she is in university, i offered to try and get it stamped for her and didn't think much of it since most people were doing it. So i offered and she said ok. Come Friday afternoon before leaving school, i was getting second thoughts but i ended up thinking, it wont hurt to try, if she says no then i'll just leave it. I go to the reception and she pretty much finds out i'm doing this on behalf of a friend straight away. She takes my name down and as keeps the sheet which has all the details of my friend. i ask for it back so i can just throw it away but she refuses and tells me that i wont get in trouble. since i believed her and just wanted to go home i left. Now i find out that its actually pretty serious and counts as fraud and i'm really scared and now the teachers have gotten involved. I have no idea what to do and I know that on Monday I will be called in to be questioned about it, I plan on telling the truth because this was an honest mistake and didn't think that it would be such a big deal, and now I'm also scared that maybe even me having a 16+ oyster is wrong. So what should I do? what consequences should I expect? Thank you for taking the time to read and respond, I'm just very scared and don't know what to do.
