  1. no offence but why do people seem to find a way to claim off everything if it causes you a big issue and you car doesnt run as good after VW, Audi, Skoda or Seat has messed with it then why make a hassle of putting a claim through i am pefectly happy with my Audi and had a letter from them stating my engine is effected but if it doesnt cause me a major concern then i won't claim

Only time ill claim is if my insurance rises alot of the Tax goes up as its currently only £30 a year

  2. Hi

Need some advice i bought my car from a dealer Car Time in Bury Audi A3 S Line 2011 final price once paid will be £15,250, I have had this car back on numerous occasions not for mechanicial faults but for small defects

    1. back window wiper washer blocked twice (2 Seperate Trips) this was fixed quickly without any issues as i only had the car a week

    2. Interior Mirror came off with slight movement

    3. Cambelt Changed due to squeek with car when engine was cold

    4. Diesel Filter light kept coming on (now been fixed)

    5. Arm Rest Latch Broken - Refuse to Fix Under Warranty

    6. Two Bald front tyres when we bought the car said would change them stupid me forgot to check when we took the car they hadnt done it

    7. We wanted to collect the car next day said unable to as it would need MOT and Servicing this had also not been carried out.

What annoys me about this dealer is when we purchased the car they was quick enough at forcing the extra warranty on us at a price of £500 for 2 years warranty, 2 years mot and 2 years service so obviously we took it out due to the problems we had with our last Volkswagen Golf.

Love the Audi but im dissapointed at the company who sold it us due to the above problems i can clearly say i will not be buying from them again

The arm rest is my biggest concern i lifted the latch to place my sunglasses back into the arm rest and the latch which locks the arm rest came off in my hand, this had not been misused in any way whats so ever when i asked them to fix it under the warranty they claimed they won't cover it and i would have to pay £166 for a complete new arm rest and claims it was stated in the book i was given which again i was not given at the point of passing the credit check they have now sent me a book in the post and made me chuckle as from what ive read its a complete waste of time

Do i have anywhere to stand here as this company has been full of promises and delivered nothing the after sales support is shocking

Managers promise to call you back but pass aftersales there dirty work to tell you this aint covered this was a week after they left me complaining seems a few people are having these issues ive only had the car 9 months and treat it with alot of respect as its expensive the arm rest was not mistreaten and therefore shouldnt be coming out of my pocket now i know why the book was not shown to me at the point of a passed credit check as the fool more than likely knew id refuse to take it out

    really not happy

  3. I think i may of opted in to that a few years ago when i wasnt doing the kind of hours im doing now

the work has picked up and everyone is now doing long hours,

i will speak to my collegue tommorow and get him to bring his contract in so i can read it i cant seem to find mine

There was nothing in the contract about them deducting wages without giving me notice

this is now being dealt with by acas,

Problem with the crash was over tired on my way home driving in the dark

    i was simply not concentrating,

The company is a shambles that many people have come and gone in the space of 6 months of working for this new company

it actual upsets me to see so many good lads which i class as friends gone

  4. Hi

    Looking for some advice

i returned to work on Friday 16th October after 2 weeks of paternity leave

and every day from then to now i have been working over 14 - 15 hours a day due to poor management skills,

lack of communication between other engineers and contruction issues on the job,

your being told to wait for this person they will be this long

you're waiting over an hour for them to do the job

then 1 hour and 30 minutes for your job which you cant start until they have carried out their job

im on pay per job and being told to wait around or get disciplined

Last night after another 14 hour day i was on my way home

joining the motorway from the sliproad

completely my fault which ive already admitted to my company

    i was not concentrating

was looking to the right to see if any cars was coming from the round about

and didnt see a ford mondeo in front of me

went right into the back of her,

my van which belongs to the company i work for is a write off and her car is being repaired,

I phoned my company to explain which they have been very reasonable about up to now

been told ill have to pay the £1000 excess for the van which will be taken by installments on a monthly basis

surely the excess cant be £1000

    wasnt a bad accident

everyone was ok apart from my back throbs from time to time since the crash

People keep telling me to put a claim in but im not sure if you can when the accident is your fault

need some advice please many thanks

My misses is blaming the hours they are making me work and not having enough sleep

  5. Hi guys

i work for a company called xxxxxxxx a company who are well known for ripping people off on the job,

I work on the Virgin contract and had a job which involved abit of cable clipping and cable splicing

as the customer didnt want extra holes drilling through her conservatory

luckily i found an exsisting RG6 sky cable on the roof of her property which i barreled on to and tucked behind the gutter

no tugging or pulling involved as i just slot it behind and then clipped the way around to my access point.

6 weeks had passed since the job had been completed and the customer claims that i have pulled the guttering away from the fascia

and has caused a leak and claims she has had the guttering people out to take a look at it would cost £300 but has no proof of a quote in writing

, any invoices to the job being completed or any photo evidence to support her claim against the guttering being damaged.

I phoned my manager today to be told that i have had enough and have been asking for the proof to this claim

if he has it i will hold my hands up and settle the damages

he claims there is no proof of the work being done or any quotes, invoice etc

and its classed as SETTLEMENT OF CLAIM which means they arnt required to provide me with any information.

The company is a complete and utter joke and have no idea how these people are still running

They have already took £50 of the settlement from my wages without telling me about it,

signing any paperwork to show i approve of it and the contract does not state they are allowed also

I have £250 remaining and another £50 is due to be taken from me on 28th of this month

DO I HAVE ANYWHERE TO STAND HERE IN TERMS OF A TRIBEUNIAL IVE TRIED MY HARDEST TO WORK WITH THEM

ON THIS MATTER BUT NOTHING AS THEY ARE NOT INTERESTED THE AMOUNT OF PEOPLE WHO

HAVE LEFT THE COMPANY DUE TO THESE PEOPLE I HAVE LOST COUNT
