  1. Hello, Thank you for the response. The lady threatened to kill me because I told her if she didn't pay I would take her to court, this is where the police were involved and Littlewoods said they would remove her but then when back on this, surely they shouldn't have told me they could do this if they were not willing? Why would they have sent her a letter asking her to admit liability if they have no intention of dealing with her direct? Is there no possibly way I can force Littlewoods to deal with her direct? This would avoid me so much trouble if they would do this.
  2. Hello, I am new to this and looking for help, in Oct/Nov 2013 I ordered 2 items out of my Littlewoods on behalf of someone else, one of the items was delivered to her address and the other to her moms - both signed for. We had no written agreements but verbally agreed she would pay the items off over 12 months so that no interest would be occurred. This lady only made 2 payments and then said she couldn't afford to pay anything and would pay Littlewoods direct, I advised this wasn't an option they wouldn't allow this. We went on like this up to August 14 me asking for payment and the lady saying no she was sorting it with Littlewoods (I had spoken to L/W several times advised of the situation and they confirmed they would not deal with her they even put this in writing to me) In the end me and the lady had words and she ended up verbally threatening me, I advised Littlewoods and they said to contact the police and log it and they would then remove the lady and balance (£700) from my account and deal with her direct, I did this and then L/W said that as the account was in my name I needed to pay the debt and then take the lady to court to reclaim the money, I advised I was reluctant to do this due to the violent nature of the lady and it would cause me more trouble and leave me out of pocket for a long time. In April this year Littlewoods finally sent the lady a letter asking her to admit liability so that they could remove her from my account and she could then pay them direct, of course the lady ignored this letter and as a result of this Littlewoods have been hounding me with phone calls all times of the day. I haven't answered any of the calls as don't know what they want me to do, I refuse to pay for something I don't have. Where do I stand? Can Littlewoods enforce the debt on me? I don't have any other balance on the account other then this £700, I have always been a good payer in the past.
