  1. Does anybody know how to proceed with this? I have raised a complaint with Halifax who said she will get disputes to return the 400 pound to me immediately as I am out of pocket but disputes are now refusing to do so saying I need to contact William Hill. William Hill have said that they will get back to me within 72 hours however I really need this money back in my account today I am now overdrawn as I have had numerous direct debits come out of my account surely it isn't fair that Halifax have allowed this to happen? Wish I never raised the dispute in the first place now
  2. no apparently not however they do have my address contact number etc so looks as though I have set up the account myself. This isn't true though as I have never used online gambling. An ex partner did have my debit card details however I really don't think she has used them for this because if I won the money would be going back to my bank?
  3. thanks for your response. They have refunded me so far 20 pounds for my call charges and 25 pound as a sorry but this isn't good enough. Man on the phone made me feel as though this was all my fault, he said that they were within their rights and I should of never been credited the 400 pounds in the first place even though that was clearly my money
  4. Hi Everyone. I am a relatively new customer with Halifax and noticed some transactions on my account that i didn't recognize from WHO internet (William Hill) these transactions totaled to 457 pounds there was also a credit on my account from WHO internet for 400 pounds around the same day these transactions took place. I contacted the disputes team and they refunded the 457 pounds straight away, however at the same time they also deducted 400 from my account in order to reverse the initial 400 credit. So i ended up getting a total credit of 57 pounds. Fast forwar
