  1. Im not 100% whether the client will run for court - I think he may as long as it didnt cost him, although the waters are muddy & the money he thinks he's owed doesnt tally, and he was like a dog with a bone before he recruited them. Interestingly, they are using an office in an industrial block that is mainly filled with solicitors & legal firms.
  2. Thanks for the heads up, thats reassuring to be honest They threaten winding up orders & solicitor action, demands for instant payment & suchlike - and Im not the only one it seems after reading a bit more about them on the net How would you respond to them trying these tactics, is there any chance their threats of action could gain momentum?
  3. Hey all, I read a few older posts regarding the Hassall brothers & their previous debt collection business, pursuing companies & individuals and wondered if any information was listed on here regarding their newest venture SMD Credit solutions? How much clout do these companies have for putting pressure on companies for alleged amounts? A company I work for is being pressured by them to pay an extremely large amount for their client which is in dispute, due to an alleged debt many years old - many legal threats & deadlines have been presented so far. It all seems so wrong to me that these tactics can be used any valid thoughts/information are welcome. Thanks in advance
