  1. Thanks, I appreciate that. Just managed to speak to a really helpful gentleman at the DWP who has explained everything and told me what is happening. He said the work capability form I have got DOES need to be filled in and sent back but it is not connected to my claim. He said as my partner is now claiming for me then she gets my money but my N.I. stamp isn't being paid. This form will just be a formality to keep my own individual claim going but only for my stamp and nothing else. He said even if I don't send it back it won't affect our claim at present but it would mean I won't get my stamp paid and won't get a pension when I'm older, so it does need sending in. Why someone has never explained this properly before is beyond me. Previously they have just said I am no longer in Support Group and not entitled to anything. They failed to mention that when this all resolves itself my partner will actually be getting my money for me. They made out previously that I had been kicked off ESA. Thank you for your help and advice.
  2. OK, I'll get onto that now. She's also on benefits at the minute.
  3. 1) Notified the DWP of a change in circumstances on 13th May. 2) I was informed on 22nd May that I was no longer in the Support Group and was told that I had to attend back to work interviews and also fill in the work capability form. This letter says one month from this date to ask them to look at it again. 3) I have spoken to the DWP numerous times between the 13th May and Yesterday. On all occasions I have been told that been removed from the Support Group is wrong and that it shouldn't have happened. That has been admitted to me by every single operative I have spoken to. Most don't know what I can do about it and have just advised me to fill in the work capability form and attend the back to work interviews. I was in the Support Group for a reason, there is no way I am capable of doing back to work activities. Thanks for your help
  4. Thanks for the reply. I don't know of any support groups around here, I'll have to research that. I've moved to a completely different area. Every time I have phoned the DWP to speak to them about this they themselves say they can't do this and that it's very strange. They all seem baffled when they look on their computers and see what has happened. Problem is none of them know that to do to rectify it, they all just agree that it shouldn't have happened.
  5. Hi everybody, I'm in a bit of a mess and need some advice. I suffer from an auto-immune disease which means that my body attacks itself. It affects many organs in my body and I was in the Support Group due to this. I recently moved in with my partner and we filled in a change of circumstances form. When they received this form, the DWP told me I had been removed from the Support Group and placed back into the main assessment phase of ESA. They sent me a work capability form and said I had to start the whole claiming process again and that I might not get back into the Support Group. I have contacted them a few times about this and whenever I have spoken to them they have said that this is a mistake and to ignore the work capability form that they sent me as it will have crossed with our new claim and that things will just iron themselves out as the claim progressed. Everyone I have spoken to at the DWP has said they won't remove people from the Support Group for simply moving house. Today I received 2 letters. One from the DWP saying that I am not entitled to any money and that my N.I. stamp is no longer being paid and the second from a disability assessment centre saying that my work capability form has to be returned today. I don't know what on earth to do now. I have been told all along by the DWP that I didn't need to fill this form in and now on the day that it is due in I am been told that I do need to fill it in and return it. I feel like they have royally stitched me up. Can anybody offer any advice here? Can they really remove me from the Support Group just for moving house?
