  1. Im not 100% sure but i think its DV. He has been with the same company for 10 years so it needs renewing
  2. I'm not sure if this is n the right place so if it's not, please can someone direct me to the correct forum! I have some bad debts which have defaulted (no CCjs) totalling around. £4k... My husband is unaware and all the accounts are in my name... We have no joint accounts at all. He is reapplying for his security clearance at work and has been asked about financial affairs... He is obviously going to put down no problems as as far as he is aware there are none. What do I do? Will it be ok as we have no joint responsibilities?
  3. Hi all, newbie here with a question. Hoping someone may be able to help. Im in the process of setting up a DRO after stupidly getting into debt. A change of circumstances meant i could no longer afford to keep up repayments and i now have multiple defaults on my accounts. I have received a letter today from 'power 2 contact' regarding a debt to paypal. It states that they will be visiting my address to discuss repayment of the debt. Should i wish to avoid the need for a visit, i need to contact them in the next 72 hours. I am in no position to repay the balance owed - £533 - so wish to contact them to explain this - however im absolutely scared witless about phoning them. If i send a letter, it likely wont get to them before the 72 hour deadline and i cant find an email address for them. What is the best way to go about this? My partner has no idea about my debt (i havent worked up the courage to tell him yet) and the last thing i want is someone knocking on my door. Please help.
