  1. These people have contacted me today and they couldn't even get my address right I hope their calls are recorded as I want mine for court! Basicly and stupidly I joined adult friend finder who billed my card, as soon as I realised this I cancelled auto bill. Then I wanted to close my account which is impossible online so called their customer services. Spoke to a very rude american women who said that my account was closed. Now the **** at LRC are chasing me for 29.94p that they say I owe AFF, told the woman that I will not be paying as you cannot even get my address right plus my account was deactivated ages ago. She said do you have proof you cancelled - I replied do YOU have proof that I didn't. Will keep you all posted, I am more than willing to go to court over this matter.
  2. Thank you sabreSheep. I have also reported this to Action Fraud. It is a small amount granted But I refuse to pay for something that is totally wrong. I look forward to their reply and will keep you posted.
  3. I joined a site called adult friend finder some months ago, they billed my card automatically and I turned off this once I realised. Realised site was crap and tried to cancel my account online with no success, called their customer line and spoke to a very rude american woman who's sole aim was to make me stay. Told her I did not want to so reluctantly she did cancel my account that was 2 months ago. Today however I received a email from a company called LRC from Northampton I believe who I contacted straight away, the women could not even get my address right!. they want the 29 pounds I OWE AFF. Have told them in no uncertain terms that I will not pay and I cannot even get on to my old account at AFF as it is inactive to see when it was deactivated. Any information you can give with where I stand with this would be very much welcome. Mikey
