Hi all, I am hoping someone can advice me on the best course of action for dealing with the DCA 1st Credit. I sent a recorded delivery CCA over a year ago and although it was signed for, I did not receive any response from the company. They stayed silent and didn't try to contact me once, when out of the blue I received a letter yesterday instructing me that the original owners of the debt - Lloyds TSB, have instructed them to act in recovering the debt. This is the same letter that they first issued me a long long time ago! My question is how do I respond to this contact? To be honest, I do not think that I would still have the proof of postage from last year, and even if I did I doubt the tracking system would recognise the tracking number after this amount of time. Do I have to start the CCA process all over again and hope that they don't contact me again next year? Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you
