  1. Hi A&L have offered me £66 as a final settlement. however my total charges are for £394!! i wrote to them with the offer of payin £225 ish if they settle out of court (as per martin lewis recent note) In their letter they state the £12 OFT bit etc but only refer this to failed payments not unauthorised overdraft charges etc. So should i send a letter accepting as a part payment but unless they pay the rest within xxdays then i'll claim the rest through court? Any help gladly received! tar Marc
  2. Just wrtie them a brief letter saying.... Your happy the matter is now resolved & you have been paid the full amount owed. Quote a few references (from mcol claim ref name address etc) and that should be all! Other than that... I would surgest to also followed that up with a phone call. Check with what other people say on hear just to be sure.... Good luck i'm sure you'll be quids in soon! Marc
  3. i forgot to do it! the schedule of charges info sh*t! Sent the two copies off today to moneyclaim my money claim (online) was "issued" 12/10. will it have any effect on my case that i've not sent it off straight away (only a couple of days?? prob just panicing but wanted to ask?
  4. Follow the step by step guide Make sure you read this through (LBA instructions) and stick to the timelines set out, then you can't realy go wrong! Don't worry about their standard letters, they are just trying to put you off!! Stick to it, it's well worth reading through other peoples questions in other banks threads. So don't worry everyone pretty much has the same concerns & worries & the people on here are extremely helpful! Good luck!
  5. Update Time Moneyclaim Filed!!! 12/10/06
  6. Your a star! thank you
  7. Thank you for your advice!x One more thing.... Tried to find the answer for this too... no luck On the moneyclaim site When you fill in the part with the references template part about why you are claiming & stating how much etc. Do i need to include the schedule of charges : dates, type of charges & amounts ?? I have seen threads regarding number of charactors you have etc. & have struggled to include all of them. Or do i need to send seperatly??
  8. Hi all! I am at the stage of going through moneyclaim online. I really need some help... I must 1st apologise in advance because many of you may have answered questions regarding this before. I have tried to read other treads regarding moneyclaim & it has just made me more confused. I really do not get the interest part & it's causing me a real headache & i would rather go through the moneyclaim process with inc. the interest. I KNOW I KNOW... Why not claim whats yours.... But i really really do not get it & believe me i have tried - & i really can't afford to lose the £80 court fee so i dont want to screw it up! KINDA BANKING ON THESE "CHARGES REFUND" COMING OFF!!! (no pun intended) I seriously need the money So what i would like know is ..is it ok to do the moneyclaim without inc. interest? Thank you very much in advance! Marc
