  1. Nor can it stop people gossiping about me....... Its just disgusting that Tesco have caused this mess and now nothing can put it right. This has been the longest 6 weeks of my life and its not over yet as I only returned to work yesterday and it has been hellish
  2. Tesco sent me a money card today special delivery for £150. Needless to say I said that's not acceptable for 5 weeks he'll and my professor reputation. I will give the card to charity. I am insulted
  3. thank you, I have had a look at the ICO website today and will be completing the form in due course. When you say a small compensatory reward, can you give me a ball park figure?

  5. Thank you for this, I have sent Mr Clarke a copy of my original email of complaint today and also that it was sent on the 9th of april and I have not had a reply. You are very kind offering advise like this.
  6. I want more than an apology I want compensated for all the trauma. I have details of who said what. And the store gave admitted it was an error of judgment on the duty mangers behalf giving my name when they had no evidence against me.
  7. That's what I was going to do but they don't seem to be taking me seriously. They won't even apologise at this stage
  8. It's the cost of going to a solicitor that's putting me off. I have no idea if financially it would be worth the stress time.

  10. Basically a store manager informed my employer that I was shoplifting. I wasn't and they admitted they were wrong but I still was investigated for gross misconduct. That's the quick version.
  11. I was wondering if anyone knew how to escalate a complaint against Tesco? It has been sent to customer services, but I cant seem to get it beyond that point. The reason I am asking is because it does not seem to be reaching anyone in authority. Is there like an ombudsman or smiliar that you can go to? Ive had a look on their website but its all very secretive. The complaint I am making relates to my previous posts. thanks in advance for your help
  12. Thanks. We are going to deal with work first then get the store sorted. As it's a public forum I can't go on to too much detail but will let you know the outcome when I can. Hopefully I won't be asking advice on dismissal as we never stole a thing and never have
