    ebay

problems with ebay again on the ninth of march i ordered a hoody for my mums friend using guest log in and she paid with her debit card. then after two weeks with no item there was a message on ebay account saying that the listing had been removed by ebay no idea why. i dd not even get email so i rang customer service to find out why it was removed and open case to get money back. then the next day it came in the post. so i rang and told them i thought it would stop the case as i had the goods. then i checked paypal and ebay have put money refund into it. i rang to try see if it was a mistake and to tell them i had it but there customer service is really hard work. i have withdrawn the money to my bank account just hope i don't get in trouble and have to pay it back. lol what a carry on
  2. something happened to me a couple of weeks ago on ebay. i and a friend were looking at monster hoody and we found one with bikes on the back and the monster logo on the front. that's what it showed in the pictures but when i got it it had nothing on the back i was really angry as it showed something on the back that is why i ordered it. ebay would not refund so we had to order a different one and pay more money. i emailed the seller as i thought he had sent wrong one but he told me none of his have anything on the back so its false advertising
  3. i never knew them to refund osc already paid and with late fees brighthouse set them as they are supposed to deter people from not paying for the goods that's why they have them. and for some small minority who miss weeks n weeks with no contact with the store and because its on hp your putting your goods at risk each time you go late. that what brighthouse think. . people don't understand its on hire purchase till the end of the contract its brighthouse goods then thein yours by the last payment made. we used to find brighthouse goods in second hand shops still on someones account we told them to get it back but they could't get it back so we still made them pay for it till the end of the contract. with the late fees it has to be extreme circumstances. like if you have had a long standing issue with your washer door falling off and they haven't had any one fix it for weeks and you refuse to pay then it might be give you money back after being charged late fees but getting any money back is hard work. the customer care line is best number to try as that's head office customer service. usually its authorised by manger and regional boss if they do. hope that helps a it.
  4. i worked at brighthouse for four years over two different periods i left huntingdon store after two years service was being bullied by my deputy manager. the APR is 29.9& The optional service cover is optional it covers for repairs throughout the whole contract and replace if ts not working. then the damage liability cover is for people who don't have insurance they must take it out. what brightouse would do if its wrecked or stolen they would write it off but not replace it. if you have your own bring in the documents and then you wont need either cover. they do charge late fees if you miss your payment by saturday night and are set on the account automatic they cant cancel it. you can pay off the contracts any time. you can also pay off a lump sum by ringing head office then they will be able to carry on with the contract minus that amount. they are bad company at getting any info from head office . i did accounts where i dealt with late payments and sales in the shop. They push the service over because if you don't get optional service cover then if there is a problem you would foot the bill each time its needs fixing then if its beyond repair it comes under dlc damage liability cover and written off. hope this helps a bit any other questions just ask.

  7. i emailed telling them all problem with it and all things i have tried and other computers to try fix i but that its n he box it came in in a drawer i cannot get it too work i also said i couldn't fix it myself as i am hopeless sand don't have any friends or family who could fix it. i said i could send it away to some websites online to fix but i could be faced for a bill to get it working more than i paid for it just for 160gb of new hard it would be at least 100 pounds and if it needs more it will work out more expensive than i paid for the ipod and something i cannot afford to pay as well. i do think that as well but it did annoy me at same time seems a bit daft of them

We apologise for the delay and we sincerely appreciate your patience regarding this matter. as you can imagine it has made me mad because they have not listened to what the seller or me has said the seller even forwarded pictures i took of what it was doing on the ipod and i tunes i took loads of pics as the seller requested it. its useless but i cant believe ebay they had the cheek to ask me to get someone to fix it. i had to email and say all the issues and i cannot use . and then a seperate long one about my rights under the sale of goods act stating my rights just to remind them just been a nightmare for me
  10. i have major issue with ebay myself. on the 7th i bought an ipod 160 gb. on there it says seller refurb and hen had put loads of new parts. so i get it and it wont work it says corrupted and error message when plugged in it wont sycronise my music and keeps saying error message when i try to restore on my pc wont let me basically useless. and its been in box all this time almost three weeks. i have tried everything. the seller told me downloaded new i tunes that should work. spent weeks emailing him but it hasn't worked. even tried i have and tried it on other computer. problem is seller has been denying it was not working and saying i wot get refund he got a bit snotty when i opened a case he constantly blames it on my pc but any issue so i know its not problem. its dragged on two weeks and i still haven't had a resolution. then earlier i got email from head office saying i should find someone to fix it and that made me very angry i spent all that money on it and i am supposed to just fix it but the way i see it i bought and it doesn't work why should i fix it. if i had wanted to buy one that needed to fix it would have only cost a few pounds. i bought it for it to work and it didn't at all. i have sent long email about sale of good acts and it not being fit for purpose. and that i should be entitled to a refund repair or replacement. my main issue is i feel i have been lied to because the seller said stuff in the description he said it was seller refurb and lots of new parts and i buy it for that reason and it doesn't work and i feel like the seller is laughing he gets my money and i get heap of junk i can't use. i have use ebay for years but i am really upset bout the whole thing i have to wait 48 hours for their verdict but if seller had accepted responsibility and said it was his fault in the first place it would have been sorted out quicker. any advice can't see this one going my way personally.
