Hi, I'm new to this sort of forum thing, however I'll do my best, I have tried making a claim against the Alliance and Leicester for PPI. I do have some supporting documentation from the alliance and Leicester which dates back to the original start date of my mortgage in 1978 (long time I know). the building society suggests they cannot continue with my claim as PPI was not sold by them at that time, but I'm pretty sure it was Could anybody please verify if indeed PPI was sold by them at that time, possibly someone is in a similar situation to me, any help would be most grateful.
