  1. I seriously don't think any of the idiots know what they are talking about. Cameron is so out of touch, he wouldn't know poor if it slapped him in the face. Count Miliband, you can have your communism. Clegg, who and what are you again? I personally have no confidence in the top 3 (2) parties. Our situation will only get worse or I believe so anyway. If Farage screws up, at least it would be a wake up call for the only 3 parties in politics who have got so complacent to lose so many votes to a fringe party. I'd like to see a big change in the current system and believe UKIP to be the only opportunity.
  2. A shake up is what is needed. I'd better watch what i type or I'll have evil Psychopaths like Theresa May making it an act of terrorism to voice my opinions. After reading the manifest of UKIP and although I don't fully agree with it, UKIP will have my vote. Political correctness gone and freedom of speech reinstated. " I do not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it". Voltaire... We were and are all born equals. Freedom is and should always be a fundemental right of every individual. The whole system we live in drives me mad! The UK is still a common law juristiction so what on earth happened to the common sense? The police and justice system is supposed to be impartial but rediculous acts of parliament and legal formalities which are enforced purely to generate revenue are far from just. Small businesses taxed to the hilt where huge corporations get away with paying zero tax. Banks granted the power to print money like confetti based on a fractional reserve system then have the pleasure of loaning to us this money at an interest that we ourselves have created with our signature. Phonecalls, emails, text messages and all kinds of data stolen for what reason? It's all ok though, we have facebook and the x-factor so we can all sit back and let the establishment take care of us:doh: I apologize for a bit of a rant there, I can't help myself sometimes.
  3. I only wish people would all stand together instead of falling for the divide and conquer agenda they have in place. The debt we are in for one is none existant and impossible to pay as the money is created out of thin air and the interest can never be generated. It's the biggest [problem] in history to keep the rich/poor divide where it is.
  4. Looking back now, I know I was easily lead and should have known better.
  5. That's a very good point. I would like to know the actual intention of this tv programme as i'm pretty sure they have selected their examples and what context to broadcast. Propoganda attempting to prove that people at the bottom aren't struggling to feed their family or keep their homes warm so they can justify further cuts on the poor.
  6. Although you can tax your car online, it is still an offence for not displaying. Not that I have ever been concerned about that mind.
  7. Just flicked through the thread to see if anyone else wrote this!
  8. I was arguing with some narrow minded people on another forum branding people on benefits all **** and scoundrels. Obviously falling for the idiot box. I grew up on a council estate and still live on one. I'm not on JSA mind but know plenty who are and they live nothing like this. I'm not one for watching much tv if i'm honest but have caught some of this pogramme. The working class are the easy targets and programmes like this gain public support for cuts on the likes. The richest 1% have more wealth than the poorest 40% yet who will be hardest hit i wonder?
  9. Just a small piece from an article i read not long ago. The UK Parliament agreed in the European Communities Act 1972 that the UK would accept all legislation adopted in the EU, and the decisions of the European Court of Justice, without any further action by Parliament to implement them being necessary and that the rights and obligations created by such decisions would be enforceable in UK law. And further... if Parliament were to legislate to overthrow an EU measure, (which they are doing) the European Court of Justice would rule this action illegal or invalid as possibly the UK courts would too. If the Government of the day, supported by Parliament, refused to comply, there would be a major crisis and, failing a compromise, Britain would find itself on a path which would lead to withdrawl. The EU is hardly democratic.
  10. Thank you. I really do appreciate the advice! I don't have the address, the guy sent it on a text and my phone doesn't store messages for very long. In fact, I possibly even deleted it as i'm a stranger to things like this. It's annoying but never mind. The last thing I will do is worry about it.
  11. Thank you for the welcome. I'm not a stranger to forums so should find my way around. Ta very much!
  12. Hi all. New to the site as I stumbled across looking for advice on the net. I'd be greatful if anyone could offer any advice. I will try be brief on this. I sold an item through the net. It was advertised on a site but was paid through paypal. The fella asked if he could pay as a gift to avoid their charges so I agreed. Naive? honest and genuine as I am, sent the item (sale worth just over 1k) only to have paypal try to claim back the money as the cardholder claimed an unauthorised transaction had taken place. Surely the onus shouldn't be on me? Afterall, the item of mine has gone and the fella clearly has it. It seems very easy for a buyer to [problem] a seller through paypal. All the protection is with the buyer and none with the seller. It was about a year ago now and have no proof I sent the item however this was never claimed nor was there a dispute with the item, simply just the transaction. The alleged debt has now been passed on to a debt recovery company. I have never once acknowleged that I owe such amount and am busy thinking about how to play this. Does the DCA need to provide me with proof of debt and does anyone know where I may find such a template for not acknowledging the debt? Thanks in advance.
