  1. I am getting a bit worried. Don't want it to affect my credit rating. Especially when we are saving to get a mortgage
  2. Thanks so much. Sorry for the late reply. Offence date was 22/9/2013 and 12/10/2013 (yes it was twice ! didn't think sitting in my car having fish and chips wold be such a crime!) Letters received to pay £60 (if paid within 14 days of letter issued) dated 24/10/13 and 13/11/13 Further letters dated 30/10/13 and 19/11/2013 asking to pay £100, so £200 in total. 14/11/2013 received letter before County Court Claim 31/12/13 went to pick up post from old address, shocked to read through all these letters
  3. Thanks! Will be waiting patiently for advices
  4. Do I have to have a POPLA code from Parking eye first?
  5. My husband was the driver. I wrote to them as the owner. I was also in the car at that time I would have paid the initial amount of £60 if I got the letter in time as don't have the time to hassle over these things but to pay £200 - is quite a large amount of money. My hard-earned money should go to a better cause than to Parking eye
  6. Hi Just hope somebody could help me. I stayed in the car at a parking place near the ferries eating fish and chips while watching the ferries, for more than half hour. This was around September last year. This is something that I have done for years without any problem, so did not expect to pay any tickets etc. Just 3 weeks ago went back to my old house and found a bunch of letters from Parking Eye. I had recently moved house and apparently my change of address to DVLA got lost in the post, hence Parking Eye was sending letters to my old address. I got two parking charge notice. I cannot pay the discounted amount because the date is now overdue. I had only realised that I had not received a V5C from DVLA for my new address when I wanted to renew the roadtax (hence went to old house to collect the roadtax renewal reminder) I have sent an appeal informing my new address but they rejected it saying it was not done on time. Now they have sent letters to my new address saying they will pursue matters to County Court. Should I just pay the £200? Obviously if I had received the first letter I would have been able to pay the discounted amount and not have done the same 'offence' again. I would greatly appreciate any advice. Many thanks
