  1. Hi I do not understand what you are saying, all i am saying is the documentation you mention and highlight in the above post it all i have ever had.
  2. Hi, Yes this is a return of goods order, i do not have enough posts to upload the files again but i have had the court documents. I have no prior notification and this is the first letter i have ever received off them since i offered to continue to pay. I have the following, Defence and counter claim Admission I understand that i need to explain my circumstances but in which section and is there any way best to word this? Its so frustrating they are allowed to do this without evidence of the calling me signed for letters etc.
  3. HI All, First is the link to all the court documents so far If anyone can help me i would appreciate any help as i am new to the forum. If i have missed anything please let me know and i can add it. I regret my choice but in 2016 i took fiance on a car with a company called the car finance company, this was all fine up until the last few months where my financial circumstances changed. The company offered a deal which was ok considering at the time my personal credit and the limit available. Last 5 months ago i was made redundant and my ability to make payments on the car changed. I contacted the company straight away to let them know of my personal situation. They asked when i could next make a payment. I Explained that when i :- 1 - Get a new job 2- I mentioned that i may receive a small redundancy payment They rang me back in two weeks time and i explained i had not got the redundancy payment yet so they immobilised the car (there is a tracker of some sort attached to the car) they would not remove it until payment was made, they would not agree to a small amount the payment had to be the same as the original amount 2 Months had passed and i had a new job and i made contact with them to continue to make payment and repay the debt but they refused to deal with me and told me there solicitors would be in touch. The advisors are due, the hold time is 1 hour to speak to them, they ignore emails. They took no care with my personal circumstances. During this process i moved the car and had it put into storage the car at the point is untraceable to the company so i have the car still. Today i received a pack in the post with a court claim i have attached some of the pages which i think is relevant. Statement of liability Total payable including sums (itemised in paragraph 10) £10089.08 Less amount paid £5410.36 Total £4678.72 Shoosmiths LLP 5-7 The lakes Northampton NN4 7SH Can anyone explain to me where i stand with this issue legally please, any help is greatly needed.
  4. Just a quick question, I am just having a battle with currys/pc world now on the phone a senior advisor said we dont ever missel our service agreements and all staff are trained to outline our services. Could i speak to the store manager/staff and record the conversation? is this aloud?
  5. Hi there, wondering if anyone could she some light onto a situation, i feel like there may be nothing we can do but i know some of you guys are fantastic! The story! I wanted to get myself a new watch and had been looking at a watch in argos, other stores had it but argos at the time where the cheapest. Now i went into the store a few times to look at it and eventually parted with my cash to buy it. now the woman who by now i had gotten friendly with explained about the argos cover and if i ever dropped it or smashed it i would be covered and decided to pay the extra a year passed, had a baby, got a new table, moved home. one day in work looked at the time and saw condensation in the watch, the seal must have broken. Went to look for my receipt and could not find it anywhere. Went into argos and explained the story and even got the woman who served me to come over and back me up, which she did but no the manager was having nothing to do with it! i feel awfull as they seem like they will do anything not to repair it, the only other thing i can think of is that i can remember the date could they look me up on CCTV? Or should argos not have a way to dig it up on the receipt. I fear i may be in the wrong but i hope one of you guys can help me out!

  7. If you can find me a 60" Plasma for £400 let me know...as thats how much i paid for it. I took the warranty as it does in my paperwork cover accidental damage, the salesguy was quite honest, he showed me the salescard and paperwork that states "we'll fix it or replace it - if we are unable to repair/fix it we will replace it with the same or similar product" now thats the sole reason i signed up as i am not going to accidentaly break it, but if and when it does go wrong ill be expecting another 60" plasma as i got the one at a steal at £400!
  8. HI all, new to the forum, I went to currys last year and purchased my 60" Samsung Plasma, the last one they had was the display model, there was no money off the TV i did ask, now i was told about their whatever happens policy, £160 5 years, the salesguy knew his stuff, infarct blew me away with his technical knowledge and explained like the paper work mentioned if the TV breaks down and they cant fix ill get a like for like model. Now being a Plasma TV i knew that if it did go wrong it would not be repaired so signed up. fast forward a year later i am in currys in the queue, where i am over hearing a conversation about a customer who has an x display tv like me and only getting the price he paid back for tv as they will not honour a like for like tv for x display models! I get home and check my paper work and then check online, it mentions nothing in the paper work about x display tvs but it does on the website, what are my rights in this situation 1) staff member told me it would cover my TV 2) The warranty is the same as it would be on a new tv of the same model 3) the original paper work does not mention that it does not cover x display tvs from what i can see. I thankyou all in advance for your help.
