Can a store card still charge interest on an account if you are disputing the amount??

any help on this one? was thinking of sending the dpa non compliance letter giving them 7 days ???

I sent off a DPA request for a Burtons store card. They originaly sent me a letter say that there was no manual intervention on the account and no charges where applied to it. I then wrote back still asking for my statements. I have got them now but there is a covering letter stating certain months are missing and they dont have them?? Anyone know where i stand or what is the best thing to do?? In total there is 10 statements missing!!

ive been messed aroung no end by citi! won my case and got judgement, never recived the money, had to get baliffs involved and now citi say they sent my payment out on 5th july to the wrong address!!

i claimed £2k last year then had more charges on same account so started process again and halifax paid up staright away! now had more charges so starting the process again for a third time on same account!

i have claimed twice from the halifax on same account and starting a 3rd time!

I won all my charges back and shock horror Citi never paid me! So i paid and sent in the baliffs and was told by the baliffs that Citi paid on the 11th July. Have just been on the phone to Salford baliffs and have been told that Citi sent out the cheque to my on the 5th July to my old address!!!! On the court papers it is my new address and Citi have been sending me stuff to my new address!! Im thinking this is YET ANOTHER stalling tactic by Citi!!!! Does anyone have a contact number for Brian Smith or someone i can shout at reference this?? Also Citi where late in sending me my bundle for court and they claim that it was down to my incompetence for not letting them know i changed home!! Im furious and want this sorting NOW! Any help guys???

Have sent a DPA request to GE for statements from a Burtons card. They have cashed the cheque and today have received a letter from M Metcalfe stating :- "Thankyou for your letter regarding a Data Access Request. Sorry for the delay in my response. I can confirm from my records that there have been no charges made to this account.THere has been no manual intervention on this account." Is this a fob off?? They have NOT sent any statements?? Any advice on next steps??

go through the whole process again! but been told they may try and close your account! i have claimed twice on same account at halifax even thinking of doing a third time!

i had both statements from egg and the dca. no charges where put on by egg but when sold to dca charges where added. so its just the charges from the dca im after. lba was standard asking for these charges back just wondering how to word my mcol part?

cca is a consumer credit act letter found in the templates and a dca is debt collection agent

you need to send a cca letter to the dca and also include on it that the amount is in dispute so cant be collected while in dispute
