  15. i'm proposing a personal attempt at arranging payments to my creditors, i will attempt that and see what happens. the other option will be bankruptcy, ive no assets and know what it entails, i did it 8 years ago. my question is, i hold a santander current account which all my pay etc will go into and which my debts are being paid. if i go bankrupt can i still use my other current account with natwest who'm i owe nothing to, to pay my wages into? will the administrator let me do that ? so i can ringfence my money in the early days
  16. just wanted to give a shout out to Mr Lender and Swift Sterling ive quite a few debts and rather than going pop im trying my hand at sorting a payment plan. both the above companies have frozen my debt and to reduced payments, BRILLIANT and a massive help. i'm awaiting a few replies but these guys did all this with 12 hours of my initial email. SO DON'T GIVE UP HOPE IF YOU TREAT THEM FAIRLY TOO THEY DO TRY TO HELP
  17. one thing i was going to ask...IF they agree to an amount, do i still offer to pay the whole of whats outstanding or am i entitled to offer just the full amount i borrowed? i,m not sure. i borrowed £1580, paid £230 and have 4x£630 to pay so do i just pay £1580 less the £230 plus one months interest? would the accept that or do i have to pay all the interest back too?
  18. i have a current account i dont use with natwest, they don't know about it, shall i move my wages there? and shall i tell them before or after i cant make the payment?
  19. yes, but thats not really answering what im asking though?? not being funny about that believe me ok
  20. hi all, i took a loan out with swift sterling £1580 over 5 payments 1st payment of £230 paid, recently, but im not going to be able to make the next payments 4x £630. so my question is i'm going to offer £150 a month im assuming to the value of the borrowed money . now should i make this offer now or after ive defaulted, im moving bank accounts so they cant get at my wages at the end of the month. ...will they then try and take the money out of my bank now if i let them know before hand of my impending doom? ive used advice before from this f
  21. I learned off hear to be in control, tell them what cones in and what goes out and what you can afford to pay Then sit back and wait for them to agree, you can hurry them along with repeat emails, never ring, i didnt. They will agree, the just try and get you stressed Hold your nerve, try and relax, and stick to youre guns
  22. To be honest my credit rep is shot to pieces, im hoping this learns me a tough lesson and never deal with a payday lender Its too expensive, ive been bankrupt 6 years ago so they obviously done no checks, ive got no real beef with wonga, after the dust has settled i must admit they could have easily said no, and acted as i was told they would but agreed pretty quickly to my offer( i did demand to speak with various directors and said i was close to breaking down) maybe that helped, but this site taught me to play hard. Wonga are legalised loan sharks they all are, its a horrible way to
  23. Every thing is in writing, i used advice on here and did it all by email and kept a file, if they mess it up ive got every email sent and received
  24. In an email yes, listing payments and yes im paying them by standing order, i got their bank details off them. The email matches the payments on their website so i will see how it all goes, im making my first payment 3-4 days before its due so i can record they got it. I trust none of them but wonga seem the less scrupulous ones of the lot
  25. Update: GREAT NEWS Ive got my payment plan sorted, theyve agreed to freeze it and im paying £153 pcm over 9 months, im happy with that as its very manageable NEVER AGAIN, thanks to all the help off this forums on how to stick at it and take the lead, to be fair wonga were very quick in hindsight to agree and its a lesson to me to never get involved with payday loans. The advice here has been invaluable. Im paying them back into their bank via standing order Result
