  2. Sake tinder is autocorrected debt collector
  3. Hi dx, I would say they are with the original creditors . The only exception maybe one with Barclaycard which was originally egg, and mbna which was originally virginmoney... But I think this was a whole book move rather than a sake tinder collectors
  4. I would like to begin by thanking in advance anyone who takes the time to offer any advice. I was recently made redundant, and after a couple of months still have not secured a postion. I have around £5K in savings which will last a few months. I have a motgage with santander of £253k and unsecured debts of £45k I did have a job, and was about to remortgage and repayed everything over 15 yeas, even had a mortgage offer from natwest on the table. My question is whether it is worth doing a cca on the unsecured credit card debts...if im honest I'm not 100% sure what the rules are with them.... I figure this will make the £5k go further. also is there any advice on mortgage deferral...and is it worth doing? kind regards
  5. hi, I have a case pending against Npower, basically there was a mess up on my billing. They promised call backs which they didnt do, so I made a moneyclaim for my time. thinking about it, I think I should have gone to ofgem. If I withdraw my claim ( which is only£250) can I be liable for their costs. also if we go to court and I loose, would costs against me be deemd a ccj and effect m,y credit file? thanks
  6. hi, sorry to trouble everyone. I have late payment marks against my bank account for an overdraft I had from 2009. In 2013 I decided to reduce this, and verbally agreed £100 reduction per month. The interest from Smile meant i was over this, and I think one month i missed the £100 payment. The marks are affecting my credit score, is there anyhting I can do to remove them. At the time Smile totally messed up a switch to santander as well sorry I should also add that they marked my credit card as well with a late payment, which they have admitted is an error, and removed that

  8. right, thanks. Can I also ask if anyone here has been successful in walking away via this method?
  9. thank you old rouge, if I am honest I'm not sure. Im not in trouble with the payments. My idea was to send a speculative letter, then those who didnt respond or sent something non-compliant to take it from there. It seems there is no risk in sending a letter and see if any of them get panicky...
  10. thanks Conniff, I think I read on the site that if the card was issued pre 2006 it does..but I a malready way out of my depth, and any further information would eb greatly appreciated. thank you
  11. no, dont think there's any ppi. I was thinking more of the sending the request, and then those who couldnt respond seeing what choices I had then
  12. hi Maroondevo, thank you for replying and moving my post..I couldnt figure out how to do this None have been passed to debt collectors, nor are there late payments. I have an Egg card now with Barclaycard, a virgin now with MBNA , a smile and m&s one...had them all for about 5 years or so My request is more spectulative than anything.
