  1. Hello Hastings / Jamie, You should have received the documents last week. Is there an update as yet? I do apologise in repeatedly asking for updates on a daily basis, though I feel as if I do not do this and do not 'babysit' the process, then it will just drag on further. Its dragged on long enough as it is. Thanks again for your help.
  2. There are so many questions concerning Ukraine. I do not know who supplied the rebels their weapons. Possibly Russia? Possibly UK in amongst their billion pound export of weapons? Possibly many other countries! So many questions and so very little answers.... Such as - who or what country recently stole all of Ukraines gold? Who was responsible for shooting down the aircraft flying above Ukraine? Why were two Ukranian fighter jets escorting the shot down aircraft? I am almost sure the fighter jets were not being controlled by the rebels. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OJawMaJZR9U
  3. hi, yes of course there is such a thing as brainwashing. Brainwashing British Citizens aka BBC !
  4. hi Stu, As 007 it is only natural for you to be against Russia! I dont believe Putin is content on starting a new cold war. He probably done some bad things in the past which he probably felt was for the greater good. Though not anything as bad as invading countries on the pretence it is for their greater good when infact it is for oil etc. Recent events in Ukraine - there are different stories reported by the BBC propaganda machine etc and the Russian news. Many Ukranian women and children are fleeing to Russia. If Russia was so bad as reported by British media, then why are Ukranian citizens fleeing to Russia? Sanctions against Russia? Most in Russia think so what of the sanctions! They mean nothing. If I was in a life or death situation and was forced to trust Cameron, Obama or Putin, then it would be Putin.
  5. hi Conniff, The difference being that in Russia, there are no computer manufacturers. In China, there are many computer manufacturers. China has been involved in a lot of computer / internet hacking, espionage etc. It would be very easy for China to install firmware into its computers, memory sticks, phones etc. So very easy... Yet so difficult to detect. If there was such firmware installed, then the people in charge of the firmware can easily monitor all the communication. Not that there would be a person monitoring, it would be electronically monitored and certain keywords flagged up for personal monitoring. If the information is then found out to be useful, then anything from that device could then be set to be permanently monitored.
  6. Hello, yes, I believe that to be true. For example, I know of someone who was not suffering from domestic abuse but was made homeless this week from the Wallasey area which is controlled by Wirral Council. They then approached Liverpool council and were offered more or less immediate accommodation through a housing association.
  7. Your sanity is fine. A stella is the only Vegan beer... and all vegans are sane? Anyway, I didn't do nothing!!!! I contacted Swinton Insurance many times, I even called into their office many times. And here is what Hastings say from their notes: So, I didn't do nothing for 7 years. Admittedly I did nothing for the last 4 years, from 2010 until now. This was because I had spent a lot of time in trying to chase the car insurance through Swinton and a claims handling company provided to me by swinton or hastings. I only did nothing for the last 4 years because it had dragged on for such a long time that I had completely forgotten about it! I only remembered about this when using CAG and saw Hastings and saw that there was a Hastings rep here. The Hastings rep has been helpful in trying to sort this out for me. Sure i spent 4 years doing nothing... but not 7 years! The 4 years doing nothing was because I had had enough of dealing with this and sending information all the time for me to hear nothing back caused me to simply forget about it. From the notes provided by Hastings, I assume that the lack of communication was caused by Swinton. For example, Hastings state this: Why would Swinton call Hastings concerning a theft claim, yet Hastings do not have any notes to register the claim until over a year later?
  8. LOL! As my employers are a Russian computer and network security company, I thought I would just ramble off a few well known companies / websites / apps etc for you... google.com Do you trust google? Sergey Brin (Russian born) is one of the co founders of google. One of googles best programmers actually lives near the Kremlin in Moscow. Petyr Metrichenv. (Russian born) ask.com If you don't use google, maybe you use Ask Jeeves? Gary Chevsky (Russan born) one of the founding programmers. C++ library Made by Alexie Stepanov (Russian born) badoo Internet dating site made by Andrei (Russian born) consumeractiongroup.co.uk Uses VBulletin software owned by Jelsoft / Internet brands - Various Russian programmers skype Programmers from Estonia (former Russia, don't know their names) RAR file format / WinRAR - Eugene something (Russian born) Intel Did this come from Moscow, Russia? Do you use a computer? Well, the first electronic computer was invented by Sergey (cant remember surname - Russian born) As the best programmers / hackers are Russian, if I used Windows and needed an antivirus then I would naturally choose Kaspersky since it would follow that they know exactly what they are doing. (i am not employed by Eugene Kaspersky or Kaspersky labs) The opinion of not trusting a company because it is Russian I find amusing. A lot of Russian computer / internet companies are aware of the unfounded distrust shown by westerners and register their business mainly in USA. I would be more worried about the actual manufacturer of your computer. For example, if your computer was a 'lenevo' which I believe is banned by UK government departments... hmm.. who knows what happens within a lenovo computer. Most computers are made in china despite being UK / American brands. Who knows what China is installing hidden away in your computer??? I am off to play Tetris and eat some borsch now - both Russian born!
  9. hello again, thanks for that. is it possible you can ask the file handler for the update as I haven't received any update as yet. The scan was sent to you instantly, my mother paid extra to ensure you receive the authorisation letter (so it is paid to her account) - so you should have already received these. Sorry to be a nuisance in asking you for updates etc, but it appears that communication has now reverted to what it was several years ago. There is no way that I want to let this matter go on for longer than is necessary which is the reason I feel as though I should 'babysit' this claim and check on its progress constantly, requesting updates and confirmation. Thanks again.
  10. I know this road very well! Ramsey Campbell (horror author) also lives there. Ironic that someone tries to quit smoking using an e-cig which then causes death by explosion.
  11. It took me around 5 or 6 months for HBOS to send me my SAR in 2010/11. It should be ok to reply with the info they need for your request. edit - sorry crossed post with DX and can't delete this post
  12. I have spent nearly 6 hours on the phone to HBOS today. It turns out that the house is not repossessed and that it is under control of LPA receivers. I am thinking about sending them this letter - any ideas / comments about letter? I am thinking about sending them the above letter of complaint. Any ideas or thoughts about the letter?
  13. Sorry, my first post (Above) is wrong. I have found out today that the house is not repossessed, it is under control of LPA receivers. The only way the bank will stop LPA receivers is if I pay the total arrears which I can not afford. Any ideas / advice about possibility of getting control of the house back to myself and away from LPA receivers?
  14. hi Keyzer, thanks for your help! errors in my first post - the house was not repossessed, it was placed under control of LPA receivers (again without mine or the tenants knowledge). The tenant is no longer homeless, having contacted a housing association and being offered accommodation. (cobalt housing in Liverpool) For anyone else who stumbles across this thread, then this link provides a lot of advice with homelessness: http://england.shelter.org.uk/get_advice/homelessness/help_from_the_council_when_homeless/applying_as_homeless
  15. Hello, My house was repossessed. It was a 'buy to let' mortgage with HBOS. Is it possible to get the house back? It has only recently been repossessed.
  16. Hello, This thread: http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?430453-Second-reposession!&p=4590049#post4590049 has background info into what caused this homelessness. I need to find some emergency accommodation for a tenant since my house was repossessed by the bank without myself or the tenant knowing about repossession. The house was a Buy To Let mortgage, so I assume the tenant does have rights with my bank? In the meantime, I would like to try and help the tenant find emergency housing. This is urgent and the tenant is willing to live anywhere in UK. And he does mean anywhere... Since he is desperate! Tenant can easily get another job quickly as can work anywhere as it is programming / internet work -- although needs somewhere to live! Another question: Since the mortgage company surely realised there is a tenant in the property (since it is a Buy To Let mortgage), then is the mortgage company responsible for any financial loss suffered by tenant? (eg, loss of their possessions, loss of their job, costs of emergency housing etc) Thanks!
  17. First repossession where there were no arrears, details in this thread: http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?426052-HBOS-repossessed-house-No-arrears Now, HBOS have repossessed another house, although unlike the first repossession where there were no arrears, there were arrears on the second repossession though IMHO this still should not have been repossessed. 1. HBOS possibly did not follow pre action protocol relating to this second repossession 2. HBOS did not inform me of the repossession 3. HBOS did not make allowances for tenants renting the property Main reason: Had HBOS informed me of this repossession, then I would have made arrangements to repay the arrears. If necessary, I would have gone to Court to stop the repossession using the Administration of Justice Acts in conjunction with Norgan. However, I was not given the chance to do this since I was not informed! I am writing a complaint letter to HBOS in relation to their second repossession. In the meantime, any guidance / pointers to case precedents concerning repossessions? Ideally, I would like to get the house back. Background notes: As I am usually outside UK (living and working in Russia) the tenants all pay their rent directly to the lenders. In the case of this repossession, the tenant concerned did not pay their rent. Admittedly, I should be checking up on this myself each month, - though I just assumed that if there were arrears, then the lender would contact me. Unfortunately, the lender did not contact me which resulted in yet another repossession. The tenant in question is now homeless. I had found out about the repossession from the rather confused tenant asking why locks on the door had been changed etc... Tenant explained that they had missed out on few months payments but were in a position to repay in full toward the end of August in addition to any bank fees I had to pay due to their late payment. I am trying to find alternative house for tenant and they will pay the arrears in full at the end of August... But, in the meantime - I would like to get my house back from HBOS!!!!! AND.... HBOS clearly ignore customer complaints / concerns (which can be seen from the other thread I linked to above). Any ideas / help / links appreciated, Thanks ps... Post implies landlord / tenants etc - it is a wrong assumption if you assume I am rich and wealthy as I 'own' property which is rented out... This is not the case! I took out many mortgages a number of years ago when it was easy to get Buy To Let mortgages with effectively no deposits etc...
  18. Hello Hastings / Jamie, I have managed to use a scanner and have scanned the document you require authorising the payment. I have also asked my mother to send you a letter of authorisation allowing my payment to be paid into her bank account. Please will you confirm: 1. If you have received the documents. 2. Whether the scan and letter (above) are acceptable. 3. If acceptable, then please confirm the expected date when money will be received. Thanks again.
  19. hi, my thoughts are s75 wouldn't help unless the holiday provided to your friend was not as described, or a service was missing. Claim compensation for loss of enjoyment if a pool was advertised, but no pool was there. To claim compensation for violence experienced would probably be very difficult since Jet2 can not control this scenario. It is unfortunate that a stabbing can happen at almost any location and I feel Jet2 can not be held responsible for this. Although I could be wrong, interesting to see what others say.
  20. If you carry on paying the interest payments only, I would think it is unlikely that the mortgage company would go for repossession, although they could. If they are being so aggressive you could maybe think of switching your mortgage company to that of an interest only mortgage product. (Not sure if they still exist, I don't know mortgage markets anymore) If you can show a court that the house is being sold and provide details from your conveyancer such as expected completion date, the court should allow you to make this sale. Stopping legal action until the house is sold should be quite easy, although it may involve going to court if your mortgage company is so unreasonable.
  21. If customer moved network with PAC code, then Vodafone would probably increase the debt further due to it being a contract phone and charge the customer for failing to stay within contract. It may be that the account holder doesn't want their credit record to be trashed by Vodafone and Vodafones lack of customer care which is shown in this thread. Why should the customer have a bad credit record due to the fact that Vodafone has not cared for its customer in order to prevent the customer receiving a high bill in respect of the stolen phone calls? Vodafone can not even compromise, ie - charge wholesale price for the stolen calls, they are intent on making a profit from stolen phone calls, so intent on this that they refuse to converse with the customer.
  22. bandit... yes... i couldn't agree more! i was trying to be nice without sounding harsh but it failed lol
  23. Either prove the belittlement and bullying and take matters further, or as you say find another job. Sorry I can't give any better advice than that.
  24. diminished responsibility - i chose to use this term instead of other terms (even though pleading diminished responsibility is for murder). chose to use that term as i couldn't think of any other way to say the behaviour outlined in first post was abnormal and almost difficult to believe.
  25. maybe they lease or rent the land
