  1. Just an update. CCA sent to Lowell's 17th May 2022 with £1 postal order - Still awaiting reply. Today I have received a reply from Vanquis in respect of my GDPR / SAR . Request for statements declined unless I pay £5 for each? They have sent a printed copy of account statement but I wanted to check for charges on the account. They also declined request for telephone conversation details apart from supplying some notes. They have also sent the following: 1) 2 screen pages of a Digital Signature Application under my old account number (no signature). 2) Detailed copy of transactions which include various billed finance and deferred charges. 3)Telephone file notes but majority I do not remember receiving and seems that they were contacting an incorrect number? These include limit increases that went from £1,000 to £3,000 4)Customer Notes & key to Abbreviations 5) Various copies of letters (not letter headed) in which majority I never received 6) A bad copy of Notice of Default dated 22nd September, 2017 with a photocopy of terms & conditions / Credit Card Agreement details with my printed name next to Signed by? also dated 21st November 2013. Again I cannot remember or locate receiving the original. Is there anything else I should have received and is that correct regarding full statements? I cannot find anything regarding APR being paid on the account or whether it has increased from date of purchase? Just a recap account appears as defaulted 30/01/18 on my Credit File. Notice of default letter dated 22/9/17 Notice of Sums in Arrears letter dated 15/11/17. Account number was changed in November 2014 due to what looks like fraud on the account but no letter details enclosed explaining this? Any further comments would be appreciated as to what to do next. And should APR % be shown on statements? All I can find on a couple of old ones is only monthly %? Should I also receive Annual Statements? No details amongst SAR. Thanks again.

  4. Hi Badtimes file updated today showing Lowell's Financial Ltd now. Default showing as January 2018. Still awaiting details to the above from Vanquis as per my GDPR /Subject Access Request. I have also requested COMMS Log to be included. CCA request letter typed up and will be sending to DCA tomorrow with £1 postal order. Is there anything else I need to do?
  5. Many Thanks Badtimes123. Notice of Assignment letter from Vanquis dated 11th April 2022. States Sold to Lowell Portfolio on 30th March 2022. I will keep checking my Credit File for change of details. And many thanks dx and of course I will send a CCA to the DCA concerned as soon as possible. I will also await SAR details from Vanquis previously sent 14th April 2022.
  6. Many thanks again for comments. I have just checked my Equifax Credit File but still states Vanquis so I am confused? Perhaps takes a while to up-date? Like I said I cannot ever remember receiving the Default Notice from Vanquis but can only find a notice of arrears letter. Hence why I have requested a SAR / GDPR from Vanquis for details. It's actually 4 years between Default Notice and internal termination of account hence my concerns. Should I still send a CCA to Lowell's ?
  7. Ok Badtimes123 many thanks and I will send DCA a CCA request and await SAR details from Vanquis. Regarding the Notice of Assignment from Vanquis, they only advise of change of ownership to Lowell's and that it was sold on 30/3/22. Vanquis also state that my agreement was terminated with effect from 29/03/22 yet default notice was supposedely sent 31/01/18 ?
  8. Hi dx thanks for your reply and merging posts. I am still at same address as when card was taken out in 2013. I found a Notice of sums in arrears received November 2017? I recently received a letter from Lowel's saying that they had taken over the debt, hence why I sent Vanquis an SAR. They want me to enter into a repayment plan. As mentioned before I had never received any written default details? Shall I just wait for SAR / GDPR details from Vanquis before responding further? Or should I send Lowel's a CCA Request? Many thanks for your comments.

  10. I sent a GDPR / Subject Access request to Vanquis via recorded delivery on 14th April, 2022, using CAG template and for all details under my said name and account. It was received and signed for by Vanquis on 16th April, 2022. Vanquis sent a letter dated 21st April, 2022 requesting my full account number and date of birth before processing my request? Anyway I replied with details on 23rd April, 2022. When does the 1 month response with details start. From the 14th April, 2022 or 23rd April, 2022? Many thanks for any comments.

  12. Sorry dx for asking. You are usually very helpful and apologies for any mis-understanding or sounding stupid. I was only asking for some clarity regarding if my daughter is entitled to 25% discount. I.E. If a full-time Student shares a house with one non-student.
  13. Hi, My daughter is a Full-Time student (Nursing) at a London University and lives / flat shares with my son ( part-time employment). Is she disregarded as a council tax occupant in order to claim a discount? Or does this only apply to sole occupancy ? Thanks for looking.
  14. Well finally received GDPR details from Skye Loans (Now serviced by BCM Global, never been advised?) on Saturday 15th January 2022. Also finally received a response to my formal complaint on 12th January, 2022 (Originally submitted 21st December, 2021) regarding the removal of the charge from property and delay to response regarding my GDPR submission. They have upheld my complaint regarding the GDPR and offered £50.00 compensation (willing to accept Without Prejudice). But they have not upheld complaint regarding removal of charge from property as they say that it is not their responsibility and is with Chartsbridge Group Limited ? I have again checked today and charge is still on Land Registry. Loan originally finalised on 7th September, 2021 (including fee paid for discharge). Loan was was paid off 8 months early due to increased monthly payments in which Skye Loans decided to reduce terms of loan. Now I would like to progress further with a legal complaint if need be including submission of Land Registry search fee charges with interest and is there a current spreadsheet that I can use to submit? I have already submitted a complaint to the ICO regarding the delay in respect of the GDPR and awaiting a response. Should I now also submit a complaint to the Financial Ombudsmen Service regarding the handling of the account or is there also any other service that I can complain to regarding the handling of the mortgage account including the actions of Chartsbridge Group Limited / Land Registry in their lack of service? Any further assistance in the matter would be very much appreciated.

  18. Thanks dx and yes it is. Just getting passed from pillar to post. Why should I have to contact Skye's solicitors when I paid them to have charge removed? And costing me £3 everytime to check Land Registry online. Just wondered if a Formal Complaint may expedite circumstances. Await further. Cheers
  19. Still Charge on property. Is there anything else I can do. Just seem to be getting fobbed off and got charged £150.00 for release.
  20. Just an update I called Skye Loans regarding my SAR in which was authorised over the phone. I also discussed charge details in which are still on the Land Registry. Today I received a further letter from Skye stating that once charge removed they could not advise me, as they would not know ? They also add that Chartsbridge Group Limited would receive confirmation from the Land Registry once charge removed and therefore I must liaise with them. Is there a limitation for removal of charge as now been over 2 months since account was settled?
  21. Yes I did dx but maybe slightly different as to what was on loan agreement 15 years ago and will check. They have never queried before when have sent them numerous written correspondences and even acknowledge receipt? I believe they are either hiding something or just being a pain. Mind you they do mention to give them a call to provide a verbal authority??? Do I now submit a complaint and involve the ICO?
  22. Further to my data request I have received a reply today from Skye. They are now refusing to submit details because they do not recognise the signature on the request? They have stated that "Please could we request that you provide us with either an original or an original certified copy of your passport or driving licence in order to verify the signature. If an original certified copy is provided, then it must be certified by a Solicitor, Notary Public or Commissioner for Oaths". Is this correct? Should I submit a complaint? Thanks for looking.
  23. SAR sent yesterday. Will advise outcome. Charge still appearing on Land Registry today.
