My partner has been self employed for the last 7 years and for 4 of these he has worked for one company. Set jobs every month for set amount of money. They have been messing around with payments last few months. He is supposed to be paid 30 days after date of invoice. They are 20 days overdue. He phoned to chase today and was told cheques would be on the post today but his services are no longer required as they can get the work done cheaper. They were due to be completed this week. Does he have any rights? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
