  1. This is an email i sent to a few mp's: Dear readers, I write this for you as this week I was in Leeds making a delivery, when I entered in error a bus lane. Yet this was a surprise to me due to the fact that the signs were not clear. I have taken pics to show this. I wonder how many good people have also fallen for this. I have written to several MP’s and Councillors in Leeds informing them of this. This is the email I sent: ------------------------------- I am writing to you regarding the bus lane in Leeds. This week around 6.30pm for the first time in many years I was making a delivery in Leeds city centre. I like most people avoid coming into Leeds as its an incredibly unpleasant experience due to speed camera in most lanes going into Leeds as well as the £4 per hour parking charge. Like most people I know drive to the Meadow Hall in Sheffield. However this week I drove into Leeds city centre. It was a dark and wet night. I drove into the bus lane. I found that I had to carry on as the only option was to reverse and I could not as a bus was behind me. Also I presume that reversing may have not been legal. I may or may not get a fine. However that is irrelevant. It is clear that the signs informing you of a bus lane are hidden. I have enclosed several pics showing this. One is hidden by a traffic light. And the other one is extremely far away and its not clear what road it belongs to. It is also hidden as busses past. The writing on the road vanishes when wet and dark, which you can see by my pics. I took the pics at night on Say night (2nd Nov 2013) around 11.40pm. I state this as again had to go in the bus lane due to the police shutting the road down. But this is clear on my pics. Though again I suspect I will be fined. As you can see from my pics you enter the bus lane without knowing. Due to the angels. Once you do you are not in a position to change and have no option to carry on. ticketfighter.co.uk/bus.htm Pic 4 is the view from your car. As you can see the sins are covered or far away. Pic 6 is a view directly in front on the bus lane. As you can see if you drive up you have no option but to carry on. There is also no white lines showing the bus lane start. Pic 11 adds confusion to the situation as unless you know which road call lane is you do not know which road this applies to. Pic 8 shows for some reason the sighs point the wrong way. And clearly the busses as they pass hide them. I write to you as I am sure you agree that this is possibly illegal if not right. I hope you put this right and a refund is given to all drivers who have been caught out by this.
