  1. I realised that I had been foolish to sign up to the so-called trial (“Companies need you to test top skin creams”) as soon as I surfed the net to check on this firm, unfortunately just after I had pressed the button to instigate payment by credit card, I was able to instigate damage limitation very quickly. As soon as you realise your mistake, I suggest that you do what I did. You have effectively (albeit unintentionally) given Lift and Glow Pro a continuous payment authority to take £84.71 plus £4.95 for shipping and handling for each product every month. You need to contact your credit card immmediately and ask them to block all demands for payment to this firm. It is your legal right and you can find out more about this by surfing the net, as I did. My card provider (Halifax) was extremely helpful and reassuring. Lift and Glow Pro now operates from Prague and all addresses on-line no longer apply (eg the Linlithgow one for returns and the Finchley address for cancellation). However, I phoned the number (0808) 189 0374 and spoke to Andrea in Prague. I explained that I had asked my card provider to block all payment and that I intended to return any products that arrived to sender, provided that the address of sender was printed on the outside. Otherwise, I would bin them. I asked for an email to be sent confirming my cancellation of the order. I received 2 emails from [email protected] and [email protected]. I have included the text which was identical for both, except the name of the product and the team: Dear customer, Your Lift and Glow Pro subscription has been canceled. There will be no future shipment of Lift and Glow Pro(Lift Serum Pro) from now on and you will not be charged anything in the future. Thank you,Lift and Glow Pro (Lift Serum Pro) support team. As belt and braces, I also sent a letter recorded delivery to the Finchley address and copied it to my credit card provider, explaining that I was cancelling the contract in line with the terms and conditions (which you can find by surfing the net for them). This all happened yesterday and today. If anything further transpires, I will post it here. PS Apologies if an unedited version of this message has already been posted. As a new forum member, I am struggling a bit!
