It's a 2001 BMW 525 though I'm not certain any BMW forum would have any better consumer advice than that provided above. Thanks. -

I did pay by credit card. Can it wait a week and whom do I ask for a chargeback from... the credit card company? -
Hi, The ABS light came on last week so I took my car to a local garage that specialises in electrics. They charged me £110 for the diagnosis and said the front left ABS sensor was faulty. £120 for the part plus £120 labour (£350 total) later and they fixed the problem... or rather they didn't. I drove the car today and the ABS light came on. Noting I paid a £110 diagnosis charge is it not their fault that they got the diagnosis wrong and changed the wrong part? Any idea what my rights are with regards this service? Thanks. p.s. I'm on holiday next week so won't be able to take my car straight back to the garage.
