  1. Many thanks for the update, as with your case RBS dug their heels in, I heard from FOS late Feb telling me that it was now in the hands of an Ombudsman and if I had anything further to add to let them know by March 10th. I'll keep you updated with any progress.
  2. I sent the complaint to the FOS 10/9/13, and heard back from them 21/10/13, very quick I'd say.
  3. Hi, update on my situation, I made my complaint to RBS, which was rejected, as I expected, they went along with non-adviced reason. I then forwarded my complaint to the FOS, who have found in my favour, they have given RBS until November 11th to respond.
  4. This is very similar to my position, however I have not registered a complaint yet...thanks for the info.
  5. Hi once again, thanks for the replies, can I ask what may seem a stupid question, why could it be considered as 'being sold' if it was taken out post 2005? my card was taken out in 2000.
  6. Hi All, first time poster on this wonderful site, and thanks for having me. Could I have your thoughts please, I had a RBS Advanta, which changed to a MINT credit card, on the application form, which was a mailshot leaflet. On the PPI section it said "Payment protection insurance is designed to protect your RBS Advanta Card payments in the event of death, accident, sickness or involuntary unemployment (including redudndancy) We strongly recommend you take out this cover" Would that class as it being sold. Many thanks for your replies
