  3. Hi all, I didn't even get to the point of taking the Nationwide to court, today they paid £3211.00 back into my account without accepting liability. I agree the fact is whether there is information in there (type case small font so you cannot see it) these charges do not represent the amount of work that a bank has to carry out following the return of a DD or similar, my bank pretty much told me I am a silly little girl for not handling my account properly. We shall see

  9. I am not sure to be honest, but the fact is irresepective of what it says bank charges are unlawful because of their nature, or at least thats what I am lead to believe. Gina G:)

  13. Hi all, I have sent the letter before action to the Nationwide on March 13th, also I sent the bank a message via the internet asking them not to add any more charges to my account. Usually the nationwide replies to my messages within 5 days this time however they did not, and that makes me kind of glad Gina G.
