Thanks but I think that's missing the point how can the settlement figure double in a month when the finance company think the insurance is just going to cover whatever they say? I have a document that states the calculations and figure at 1241 and a month later they are asking for 2450? Due to a system error? that's the case why wasn't I informed of the error surely they can't do this?

Thank u how will this help me? I've tried using the calculators but they say the interest is to high to calculate, do I have grounds to argue these figures being different? I did ask if they had made a mistake with the first settlement they sent me why was I not informed but they fob me off and I don't know my rights so I end up giving up should I?

I'm really hoping for some advice I've no idea where I stand it's also complicated, I took out car finance with credit 4 cars in May last year (I have poor credit) got the car never missed payments, in October we were thinking about trading the car in for newer model, I phoned credit4 cars they said I would receive early settlement figue by post, I did the calculations were all listed and the figure was 1241, we decided we were not going to trade our car in we were going to keep it, on the 1st November whilst travelling to visit family we were stationary in traffic and some one drove into the back of us writing the car off! The insurance company requested a settlement figure from credit 4 cars and they gave a figure of 2450!, when I enquired about the difference in the figures credit 4 cars told me that the first figure was wrong due to a system error and she wouldn't lie to me as she had a mortgage to pay can they do this? Any advice would be gratefully received many thanks in advance

I will prepare a financial statement, no eviction date yet? Can u help me with the wording on the n244 statement and how to prepare it? I would be really grateful
