thank you. what are the paper work to demand for in the court? i today got a mail from the official receiver demanding for my account details. why is this required and what should i expect on the public examination day. there is also anther letter that says a warrant of my arrest will be issued if i did not attend the public examination. i am just stressed and confused!

hello, i am in a similar situation. a bankruptcy order was made against me in december 18. i was not present in the hearing as i was away and not aware of notice sent to me to attend the court. i have got a property with equity on it and the amount of debt for which i was declared bankrupt for is around £3900 owed to halifax(unsecured) credit card bill sold to a 3rd party. i have been asked to appear in court for public examination in march 26th. i want to overturn this decision because it will affect the current carreer. i lost my job last year and didn't apply for social welfare because of its adverse effects. pls advise me because i need to fill the PIQB and TNIDIS forms and what to say if i go for the public examination. do you think i will need an attorney at this stage? i will appreciate a prompt responses from previous respondents to help as i am stressed. thanks and kindest regards,
