I'm not going to continue parking there, I've found another spot round the corner that has no parking permits or anything, I don't really Wonna spend £50 on a parking ticket, if it was £20 I'd pay but £50 is taking the ****

Anyone had any past experiences with this?

I park in a car park just outside if town for my work as I work in town centre and don't Wonna pay loads for the multiple story car park 5 days a week. Anyway they recently put up parking signs but I ignored them and continued parking anyway but today I received a notice from county parking enforment asking for 50 pounds within 14 days or £100 after 14 days up to 28 days. Do I really have to pay this or are they just chancers?
