  1. Oh I mean I bought the contract in January 2012 - it is a year old!
  2. Hi, This is my first ever post on any forum! When I bought my Vodafone contract in January 2011 they specifically said I could downgrade my contract after 9 months. I double checked this information because I knew that I would be getting a second phone in about 6-12 months time and this one was to tide me over until then. Unfortunately I bought the phone contract in store so I have no record that I was promised this information - it is not in my written contract. I have now tried three times to downgrade my contract and each time they have said no it is not possible. As far as I can gather from looking at forums Vodafone used to offer this as standard but have now stopped. Maybe the sales representative told me out of date information - but I still signed the contract believing that I could downgrade. Has anyone else had experience of this? I cannot prove what I was told, but I know I wouldn't have bought it if I had not been able to downgrade in the future. It costs me £41 a month - and I could really do with not paying that anymore. I have been a Vodafone customer for 10+ years and I feel like I have been tricked. Thank you! Olivia
