Hope you can help. I've just been informed that I've been banned from a TK Maxx store for an incident that happened two months ago, although I've been in the shop on numerous occasions and purchased goods. This is what happened. The Manager of a TK Maxx store made some very inappropriate personal remarks to me that sent me reelling. I must admit I was fuming said what I had to say then left the store, but before leaving, I kicked an empty shopping basket out of frustration (not clever I know, but I was frustrated). There was no one standing nearby and there was no damage. That was two month ago. Last night I went into the same store (this has been about the seventh time since the incident), I was there for approx 40 mins, when I was approached by two RLP staff with the Manager stood behind them. One of the RLP people informed me that I was banned from the store and asked me to leave. After a rather shocked silent moment, I realised that this was as a result of the incidenent aforementioned. I looked at the Manger and shook my head and made my way to the exit. Before leaving I asked the RLP person, where is the paperwork, to which he said there is none. My question is how does this stand up? Surely I should get some sort of paper work? I rang head office today who informed me that the RLP would have viewed footage of the incident but without sound. I said how would they be able to get a full picture of what was said to me that made me react that way without sound. The response was that they were trained in body language. To be honest I'm still stunned. Will I be able to shop at other TK Maxx stores without any problem? Thanks in advance. NW
