Hello, I had a letter from someone called 'Pastdue credit solution's'' this morning, asking me to phone 0141 951 6447 - they said I owed £406.96 for an outstanding debt to 'British Gas' from a previous property I lived in .... I owe no such debt at all ........ I have prepayment meter's and have done ever since I was deserted by my spouse, and had to find a place of my own. British gas have not communicated to me of any such debt, and I buy my fuel online at british Gas with paypoint top-up direct from my pc, and each time I top-up I get an email as proof of payment. Is the letter from Pastdue legitimate ? I really don't want to phone them and waste my time or money. Thank's x
