  1. Should I say way these don't comply or just leave that to them to figure out?
  2. Ok thanks! That's more simple than I thought! Thanks dx100uk, I will send a letter to Reston's stating just that.
  3. I have today received a letter from Restons saying the following. Our client has informed us that your recent request for documentation has now been complied with. As such, they now require your proposals of payment. Please complete and return the attached financial statement by 7th May, failing which we may be instructed by our client to issue legal proceedings. What should I do now? Should I fill in the form? Thanks in advance
  4. Ok thanks for that, the link is quite interesting. Just one thing, am I right in thinking that as the terms and conditions supplied with what Arrow sent me refer to Santander that they can't actually be the original t&c? And I should receive the original ones, plus any changes since?
  5. I used byrom and keely I think it was, but this debt wasn't included in the plan, I have no idea why. I have searched thorugh bank statements and found a payment to ge capital bank, on the 6th nov 09 The last payment to byrom and keely was 27th April 2009, some of these have chased me but after sending Cca requests, I have received nothing back. Should I sit tight and wait for Restons to come back to me? Or send another letter to Arrow, telling them what they have sent me is not enforceable as you suggest?
  6. I am sure it was a Dorothy Perkins store card, it could be used in burtons too. So what do you think I should do now? Thanks very much, you have been really helpful, so far.
  7. Thanks for this, I dont have any further information to check if this default date is correct. But I am pretty sure this is a Store Card, through GE Capital bank, and I last made a payment on 6th Nov 2009.
  8. dx100uk I have re attached the returned letters from Arrow Globel. I have tried to erase personal information via the information you gave me but I still couldnt do it. So I have cut it out!!! Hope its ok to do this way. I have not received anything further as yet.
  9. Right I have just checked on Noodle and this Does appear on there, default date Aug 2010. I have just traced this through bank statements and can confirm with certainty, that the last date I made a payment was on 6th Nov 2009. I cant find any details of interest rates on the pages that I have received. What should I have received if this isnt enfoceable? Thanks found the interest rates 2.08% per month APR 28.0 for monthly direct debits 2.21% per month APR 29.9% for monthly payments by any other means.
  10. Thanks Andy, I have deleted them now. I didnt realise you could see the information There arent any numbers or dates on the pages as you describe, all thats on them is the reference number thats been handwritten. I will have a look on Noodle, I have used Experian in the past but havent noticed anything on my credit file, but I will have another look. So do I just wait for Restons to come back to me? and how do I go about the PPI on an account this old? And the hardship rules? whats that?
  11. I stopped paying around April 2009, as I had a debt management plan, but I had one that wasn't involved in the plan, I have a feeling that this might be the one, which I paid up to nov 2009, so if it is, then it's not sb yet. I will try and up load them shortly, for you to have a look at for me, thank you so much for the reply.
  12. Wondered if someone could help me. Last July I Received a letter from Restons, instructed by arrow global management, for a debt of around £1800. They were asking for full payment, or threatening court action. Following advise on forums, I sent a Cca request to both Arrow and Restons. I received a letter back saying they would request the information from the original creditor and the account would be placed on hold. Today, I have received a letter from Arrow, with a 4 page copy of what I belive to be the original credit agreement and terms and conditions. The letter also states the sum I have paid, which is £0.00, and the value owed. It then Goes on to say that the account is being operated by Restons ons on behalf of arrow, and arrow will deal with this document request only, all other enquires to Restons. Feeling slightly out of my depth here, what do I do now? Is this all the information required for Restons to chase this debt? I don't remember this debt, the credit agreement is dated 2001. It clearly is my debt as its a previous address of mine and my signature.. I got into financial difficulty in 2009, and lost my way totally, so it's clearly from around then that I stopped paying for it. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks in advance.
  13. After some help if anyone can. My work colleague and friend hurt her shoulder in January and had 4 weeks off sick, she consulted her doctor, who signed her off for this period. On return to work she came back on reduced hours and light duties for several weeks. Eventually, she went back to her job on normal hours and duties. However, it quickly caused pain to her shoulder again, after seeing her doctor again, she was treated with a steriod injection, where she had to take a few days off work on the advise of her doctor. She returned to work, and several weeks later was back in the same situation with her shoulder, and had the same steriod injection and 3rd occassion of absence, as advised by doctor. When she returned to work, she had the usual back to work interview, where she was informed that Occupational Health would be come involved. She later in that week, received a phone call from OH, who assessed her problem with her shoulder over the phone and came back with a list of light duties for her to do until she saw the consultant at the hospital. ( she was referred in Jan, when the injury first happened). However, these light duties were not followed and she was put on normal duties, and has since ended up off sick for 4 weeks, due to the pain in caused her. Today, shes returned to work, shes been told that light duties will be followed, however, they are now taking her through the disciplinary process. We work for a huge week known company and have a union, who she is going to contact when she gets home. Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on this, or any advise or support that I can pass on?? Many thanks for any help given.
  14. Okay thanks for that Andy, I am in the middle of another crisis at the moment (car has broken down), so I will be looking at this later today, I will post for help later, thanks very much
  15. Okay thank you, there are 3 defaults altogether, from 3 different companies. But as only Link Financial are chasing me I will deal with them first. I will look at sending this today, once again, thanks
  16. Right ok, I have a copy of my credit report infront of me from Experian. There is a default from Link financial. The default date is 01/01/2007. I guess this will be removed shortly. There are also a few other defaults, all at the end of 2006, 28/11/06 and 07/12/06. What is my next step please??
  17. okay thanks for your help, will spend some time tomorrow looking at this and making the next step
  18. thanks for the reply, I am needing lots of help here. cca?? how do I do this? is this the credit agreement? I have debts to 5 companies, 2 credit cards, 2 loans and one store card. Its Link financial that are hassling me, for a MBNA credit card. I am not in position to pay any of these off but now think its time to deal with them, I guess I hoped (and still do) that if ignored them long enough they would go away. Nobody else has found me................ yet.
  19. I have not checked my credit reference files I will do so, shortly. Just a question, I have been reading various threads on here and am a bit confused about a default. Would I have received a default when I lowered the payments through a debt managment company or when I stopped paying altogether? Also, am I right that I would only receive one default? Thanks in advance I will start with the getting a copy of my credit reference file and then come back to you for the next stage, a subject access request.
  20. No statements, just 1 phone call that I answered which was just over a week ago, 2 phone calls each day for the next 2 days, then 1 letter that I returned, (didnt open). Also, when I did speak with them, they said the debt was for an MBNA credit card for £7000, but my limit was only £5000 in the first place. Is the rest charges?? thank you
  21. Hi thank you for your reply, the last payment was May 2009. I have had no communication with them for years as I paid through a DCM
  22. Hi all I am new to this forum, so I apologise if this is in the wrong place. I am after some help/advice if anyone can please help me. Back ground to my problem In 2005 I joined a debt Mangement company to help with my debts as I was struggling to pay them, this was quickly sorted out and I was paying £400 to 5 companies I owed money too. 2 credit cards, 2 unsecured loans and a store card. No further problems with this and I continued to pay till 2009. In 2009, a rather bad run of luck left me in a financial mess, firstly my long term partner left me (out of the blue), then 4 weeks later I lost my job, then a few weeks later I found out I was pregnant. In May 2009, I packed up all my belongings and went back to my Parents, and I never paid to these debts again from this point. I never intended to ignore them long term but it was the least of my worries at the time. Up until week, I have not heard from any of them, but last week taken completely off guard, I received a call from Link Financial who conned me into confirming my identity. (they told me they had some mail for me and could I confirm my name and previous address, which I did, stupid maybe?) I received a letter from them a few days later, I knew who it was from, as I checked the return address on the envelope, so I sent it back, as "not known at this address". Silly thing to do but I guess it was panic. I have re-built my life from the mess I was in in 2009, and now have a part time job working 16 hours a week, I am not financially well off and struggle to pay my bills but I get by. I cant see a way that I can pay much more than a few pounds to re pay this debt, and I have no savings to even consider bankcrupcy. Please help, what is my best action to take here??? Also, I will add its only Link financial that are in contact with me for 1 credit card. Many thanks in advance
