There's a great Slimming World group on Facebook that's really helpful and supportive and, as it's an unofficial site, you don't have to be a SW member to use it. I've tried many different plans over the years but find Slimming World the best as it's truly a healthy eating plan and no food is banned so you've more chance to retrain your eating habits without feeling as if you're losing out on something.

I'm on my 4th Blue Badge ie had one for 12 years and they were always free but our council introduced a charge for them last year of £20 a badge. Being unable to work £20 is a lot of money for me to find along with the money to pay for a gardener to cut my grass since our council removed the Free care of Garden scheme I'd been receiving for the previous 8 years. they try to pull the wool over folk's eyes pretending the council tax hadn't increased when the reduction in various services equates to an increase in Council Tax in my eyes.

WOW don't know if I'd enjoy being on such a large ship. It must be like a mini city.

My actual wording was 'I request that any communication with yourselves be only in writing' followed by medical reasons for this request. I then noted the dates and times of their calls and wrote 'I find that attempting to call someone at least 23 times over only 8 days – and commencing as early as 8.22am totally unacceptable harassment and, as per my above request, should be stopped immediately.' Is that not clear enough?

Like the OP I've also been getting numerous calls from Aktiv Kapital even after I asked in writing that they stop phoning and communicate only in writing. Today I phoned Ofcom to complain and they told me they don't deal with this type of complaint and that I should complain to the Informations Commissioner's Office. She gave me their phone number as 01625-545745. I'll phone them tomorrow but I think they deal more with unwanted marketing calls. I think Ofcom may have misunderstood my complaint though i don't know how. Has anyone complained to the ICO before?
