Update: After five people filing police reports, David Howie owner of Caledonian was interviewed by Maryhill Police Glasgow for three hours. He signed a written statement stating he would give back our items if we sent an agent around to retrive them. Thankfully for us, this is happened and we now have our items, although some things are still missing. Unfortunately for the other four parties that complained, they are still having issues with David Howie and haven't had their items returned. Anyone still having problems with David Howie and his company Caledonian Removals, I would advise you speak to the police. Myself and four other people have all filed police reports and have had a positive response from the police.

Hi there, Its ok now. We've had the police involved and David Howie has been under investigation. With the police involvement we and four other people are getting some results. I wouldn't recommend Caledonian Removals in Glasgow to anyone.

I would seriously avoid using this company. The company name is registered under David Howie's parents, however they have nothing to do with the running of the business. We have been told by a previous employee, this is because his last business went bust. This does not surprise me, given the way he treats his clients. We are having similar problems to those who have previously posted on this site about this company. We have recently moved to Australia from Glasgow and some of our goods didn't arrive.
