  1. This is what I'm trying to think! They have tried to keep me, but im moving on to better things!I will just have to keep head down, if i need time off I can have it!
  2. Hi,Thanks for your advice, I am trying to work through it, I have just been keeping my head down and getting on with whatever I am told to do. They must have felt as though they werent getting to me that way, so started making loud comments for my benefit!Hopefully it will get boring and I can just see out my notice. I am having a day and a half off at the end of the week so this should help! It just gets you down, as I have been the top performer in my department since it opened and wanted to leave on good terms. They started off by refusing to give me a reference (then they did do, but only confirming my dates!).Anyway, thanks for the words of advice! Hopefully it will fly
  3. Hi, my notice period is 4 weeks - My leave date is the 21st of this month
  4. Hi There,I joined this forum specifically for help with a problem I have at work.I handed in my notice last week and I am moving to a competitor.I have been looking to leave for a while due to the way the office is. Since handing in my notice no one has been speaking to me, they are making sly remarks which are clearly intended for me to hear and generally making my remaining days hell.My wife is pregnant and baby is due imminently and it is seriously effecting my home life too, as I am constantly stressing out about going into work the next day to face more issues. I feel as though I am being left with all of the jobs that no one wants to do and have not been able to do my own job for a few days, which in turn makes me look bad and get even more worked up.I really dont want to leave on bad terms, but feel that the way I am being treated at the moment is unbearable. I have considered just walking, but I cant afford to lose any pay due to the impending birth of my daughter. Is there anything I can do to make my notice period any easier but without losing pay / my job?! It is making me ill now, and I am worried about worrying my wife in her condition (if that makes sense!)Thanks for reading.Dan
