Code: 08 Parked in a parking place for a purpose other than the designated purpose of the parking place. My Grandad was told by a parking attendant to parking there when he asked him where can he park.

Hi my Grandad got a parking ticket on the 22/08/12 at 10:07am at the Royal Free Hospital while he had to have an operation done on his face (to take some cancer out as he has skin cancer). When he arrived a parking attendance told him he could park anywhere as he has his disable badge but after he had finished at the hospital he came back to find a parking ticket (my Grandad was there all day). Is there anyway we can get him off? I have not paid it yet I just want to know what I can do??
