  1. seems weird to me why it has to be a saturday!? its alot of messing for us to go instore especially at weekends
  2. my mum wrote to cancel the OSC and DLC on some items and they said she has to come into the store to do it because they have to re-write the contracts and the ONLY day that they can do that is on saturdays. is this true!? Why only saturdays can they do this? we sent the letter over a week ago expecting it to be cancelled from when we last paid but nope they took full payment and said we have to go in next weekend to pay it
  3. the replacement phone we got only a few days ago is constantly rebooting and losing signal
  4. update - rang today after sending it in 2 weeks ago for an update, they had nothing on there computers and couldnt actually say where it was at the time so they would email the service centre to see what they could find out about it, 10-15 minutes later got a call from brighthouse offering us a brand new replacement as a goodwill gesture which we accepted and collected so worked out all good in the end, very kind of them as my mums been struggling without her phone so im pleased with the outcome
  5. just rung customer service and they said it isnt a problem getting an update on the repair they will ring the service centre and give me an update before the end of the day and that phones generally only take a couple of weeks to fix there and its washers ect that are 6 weeks...so just goes to show brighthouse store people just couldnt be bothered to help yet again!
  6. just got off the phone to them, its gone from could be 4 weeks to now being up to 6 weeks to fix! they cant get ANY update on whats happening to my phone they have NO dealings with the service centre they just send the phone there and aparently the first ill know if my phone is fixed is when it gets delivered to my house within the 6 weeks. ABSOLUTE JOKE
  7. the national service centre is actually only 15 minutes from me to lol ill call them tommorow and try to get an update thanks for your replies so far
  8. i should be able to be kept up to date though with the repair shouldnt i? they should be able to call the service centre for an update. im so lost without my phone!
  9. yes i stupidly paid for the service cover which is why my phone is at there national service centre now i cant see what will take 4-5 weeks as i was quoted to fix a broken key on the keypad!? as soon as its returned im cancelling all osc as stated in my post do you think i can ask for the phone to be returned early to me without being fixed to sort it myself?
  10. i said to them like why should i pay and you also dont offer a replacement and they just said that its in my contract
  11. i sent my blackberry off to be repaired and have been trying to find out an update on whats happening with it, will the team at brighthouse be able to call the service centre to get an update on whats happening with it? Also they wont give me a replacement phone in the mean time and also expect me to keep paying for the phone will its in repair! Bit annoyed at that to be honest. How long do phone repairs usually take there as im stuck without a phone in the mean time, also have i got the right to ask for the phone to be returned to me whether its fixed or not as the problem can be fixed locally within 24 hours near mine obviously at a cost but wil beat sitting around for the brighthouse repair team to try to fix it! thanks
