  1. Ros1609 Please refer to the first paragraph of OP!
  2. Please please could someone explain to me why I have been refused a budgeting loan Because I have contribution based esa? I don't understand how someone who has paid into the system and receives the same amount of income as someone on income based esa is deemed unworthy of help. I have recently been placed into the support group of esa so going back to work in the near future is highly unlikely. I really need financial help and have no where else to turn. It seems so unfair the because I have worked in the past I am now denied any extra help. Please explain to me why this is if possible.
  3. Okay thanks for the information. My friends has advised me to try and claim PIP now. Is there any advice about that process please? I used to claim DLA years ago which was relatively straightforward but my ex made me stop my claim as he said I was a scrounger. Hey ho.
  4. Obviously they are counting it as two separate claims although about 3 weeks ago I got a letter from the dwp saying that my contribution based Esa was about to run out as I had been on it for 365 day so I'm really confused.
  5. Hi all. I was wondering if I could ask some advice regarding if I could claim back some money from Esa? All last year i was on Esa at the assessment phase payment of £72 per week. I cam off Esa I. December to try out work again. Unfortunately it didn't work out so made a further claim in January of this yaer. That was a rapid reclaim. I have been on the assessment rate since then awaiting my medical. I have just received a letter stating I have been placed in the support group without a medical. That is obvious good news but they are only backdating to January and forgetting about all of Las year. Any chance of getting that back as my dad said i should be entitled? Thanks in advance.
  6. I forgot to leave a question. He asked for my passport, full birth cert and NI number. Why would one company need this much ID at interview stage and why is the ID I do have not sufficient?
  7. Thankfully I was invited to attend an interview with Tesco tomorrow which I accepted only for him to refuse as I don't have afull birth certificate. I have a full UK passport, full UK driving licence (both parts) and national insurance number. I have never been asked for my birth certificate before and usually this is not deemed sufficient identification in my experience. He has kindly given me until Friday to sort out my birth certificate but I fear that it is going to cost me £s for express delivery which I do not have at the moment, for a job I may not get and a certificate i cant imagine why i would use again.
  8. Hi there. Stupidly I fell for the commercial hype over the x5 steam mop. I had this product for 3 months and the handle snapped as I pushed it along my wooden floor. The handle is really flimsily and I did not use undue force. Thane direct happily supplied me with another handle free of charge. The next time I used the mop the pump system has stopped steaming. This left me mad. I asked thane direct for a full refund but they said as I had the mop for four months this is not an option and that I should flush the mop through with vinager as it was probably clogged with lime scale. I did this even though I use de-ironised water. Anyway, they have agreed for me to send it back for testing. The postage I have to pay! After looking around the web I have read quite abit about people sending the mop back only for thane to say something like they will not be replacing as it has been dropped or other random excuses. The damn thing cost me £99.99 plus an extra £40 for extra sponge heads. I obviously do not want to pay extra postage costs for them to do me over. Has anyone got any advice please. The thing does come with a years warranty against faults so it should be simple??? Obviously I should of done my homework before making such a big purchase. Hindsight is a wonderful thing!
  9. Sorry again. Take care all. from what I can see you offer a Great service to many people.
  10. Sorry just confused and scared tbh. I had a really nasty experience with a marston bailiff last year which has left me unable to trust. I found a lot of information on mmf but I can't find anything that says if I am able to get them to refer back to original creditor. I know everyone gives up thier time to freely advise. I just felt like I was being ignored. I realise that is my feeling. X
  11. Do I smell??? Seriously though, what did I say wrong?
  12. Hmm, I am assuming from the lack of replies that I may well have no choice other than to deal with these people. From what I have read about mmf there is no way on earth I want to give these people my banking information...anyway Please could someone point me in the right direction for a good template for income and expenditure and also any guidelines on how little you are allowed to allow for things such as food. Also after an 8yr relationship my significant other feels ready to actually live with me. . When this happens I take it I will have to include his income as well. Is this correct? Thank you x
  13. Another question I wanted to ask was I have been looking over old emails from wda. I have managed to find my loan agreement but can't find the credit agreement. Could someone explain to me what the difference is please. Sorry if this question seems obvious.
