  1. Hiya We went with the ignore advice. We had 2 further letters with the last one received around the November/December time. One of our friends paid up with an appeal letter and just got told, "tough!" I'd recommend doing it, but as the previous poster has mentioned, double check the current info. Do research to make sure you're happy and then see how it goes. Good luck!
  2. TBH - I didn't even look at the sign. I knew there was an agreement to park there
  3. Hi I came across this site while searching for information following my fine from UKCPS on Saturday for "leaving site". We were "allowed" to park in the (free) car park of a retail park by an arrangement held with our destination however we forgot to put in a note to say where we were. By the time we were reminded a fine had already been issued. Having read a lot of posts we've decided to be brave and not pay (there were 3 cars "done" - one has already sent a cheque with his appeal letter) I just wondered how far things have got for people? Has anyone ever been taken to court? Has it ever got that far? It's a bit daunting thinking of debt collectors and court proceedings... We've decided to ignore the 'fine' and wait for the first letter and then reply asking for evidence and see how we get on. I'm wondering if I should go back and double check the signage? Or does that not really matter? Thanks!!
